The Tulip Inn was great for our stay in Lausanne. it's away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown or touristy waterfront. It was just a short walk to downtown, or to our families apartment near Prilly. My only complaint about the Tulip Inn is the lack of an in room coffee and tea service. The website suggested coffee and tea were available in public areas. That meant it was available for a significant charge in the breakfast room.

The lady in the front desk was really helpful and nice. The hotel is clean.

Overnight stay to attend an evening performance at the Theater de Beaulieu. It's a great location, excellent service at reception, and beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Tulip Inn included a public transportation pass to cover my weekend in Lausanne since I did not bring a vehicle. This was a thoughtful addition. My room was clean, and the hotel had a family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Tulip Inn.

Nice, cozy hotel

We rented 3 rooms, 2 were with airconditioning but the third not. We asked to change the room and they wanted to charge for it. When I tod them I would vsncell everithing and call Hotels.com they accepted to change the room. But.... none of the airconditioners worked, theywere nice ventilators. I put them at 21 degrees and at 2 a.m. outside was colder than in the room. I asked for gluten free and they had nothing to eat gluten free, not even bread. To park the card the recepcionist said that in the key was the code to open the door but she didnot give it untill all the paperwork was done but

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location for me as well. This has become one of my regular. Room fittings are basic but staff are happy to Ken’s you items such as kettles or other items. Nice small garden outside. It was quite hot during my stay and rooms were a bit warm.

All good here, the parking is a bit tight and initially the internet was rather shoddy. I was issued other collection details and the person at the reception was very helpful. Decent room size and lighting for a business trip. I only spent one night there.

Very nice front desk staff. Clean, public transportation is very accessible. Can be hard to find parking. There is city parking on the street at the bottom of the hill.

Parking us dreadful in this area. The hotel is in the middle of a residential area close to the town. Only option is to use the hotels car park (13.- a night) or drive around for ages and find a spt that allows you to park for an hour only. Public transport is not close or easy in this hilly district. Even parking infront of the hotel to offload is a challenge. The hotel is nice, the staff are friendly, but seriously let down by the dreadful parking. The hotel should allow you to park for free. For this reason I won't be returning. What a shame.

Breakfast is useless. Few pieces of salami , cheese, Bread and cereal. Not expecting grand buffet but this was poor.

Bed very very unconfortable. Breakfast is poor. Room was small. Parking is underground with gate manual opened by the receptionist. Door locker is with classic key and you have to leave it in reception when go in town, and anybody can take "accidental" your key and steal your stuff because receptionis just giving the key

Our room was quite small and pretty suffocating in the heat without any air conditioning. When asked to change our rooms, staff were quite unhelpful. Would never stay there again, totally ruined our vacation.

Convenient to public transit and accepts reward nights unlike most in Lausanne.

What I didn't like: No doorman, same breakfast 4 days in a row, My wake-up call came 30 minutes late; room Door has no chain and/or peephole. What I liked: Taxi was quick to arrive; employees are very nice.
