I had a medical emergency while staying here and I can not say enough about the staff and how well they looked after my family. I would consider no other hotels when coming back here. Truly fantastic.

The PRO: The location of hotel Is very good -walking distance to shopping and main attractions Public buses outside hotel Check in was quick and smooth The maitre Joaquin was excellent giving 5 star service THE CONS: If you are light sleeper -don’t stay here Do not accept rooms facing the street IT IS TERRIBLE IN NOVEMBER THEY do not use ac in room If you open window you will NOT SLEEP as is super noisy. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW POSSIBLE hotel allowed Bunch of people to Party ALL NIGHT LONG in front of hotel sidewalk And make all that noise ALL NIGHT LONG TO 6 am Due that the hotel is next to a government building There are protest outside in the afternoon Causing more noise

Room was spacious. Ned’s comfortable. Two twins pushed together. Bed linens tucked in very tight. Some days room serviced around 3. Other days am service. Had thermostat in room. 10c or 30c temperature seemed to come from anther system, Could get fresh air by window that did open a bit. Good water flow and temp. Good WiFi.

They turn off the AC and are absolute about turning back on. 4 star hotel should want their clients to be comfortable. Also when large groups stay there others can't eat at bar.

Room large. Hotel turns on heat at 7;30pm. Food is excellent. Good wine choices at fantastic prices. Immediate responses to any questions with a good solution.

I had a wonderful stay from October 14-23, 2025. The staff was great, helpful and friendly. My room was spacious and amenities were good. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The local cheeses and ham were very tasty. There was a nice variety of breads and rolls, as well as some lovely sweets. I loved the fact that I could brew my own tea. The hotel is in a great location. There is a beautiful park nearby. The Guggenheim Museum and Old Town are within walking distance. There are many cafes and restaurants in the area with wonderful Pintxos. On the down side wifi was spotty. I like to watch international news, but broadcasting was spotty.

Fantastic breakfast options! Great room size for family stay. Easy location for getting around. Only slightly frustrating that I booked it on the basis it had parking but was told it was fully booked which we weren’t aware needed to be done, so had to drop luggage off and then find self-parking which was available close-by.

The bathtub was too slippery y and narrow, not safe at all

Hotel is well situated on the Grand Via. Parking is ample. Service is questionable. Breakfast is way over priced for the quality. The biggest problem, however, is the room. The temperature in Bilbao was warm and the air conditioner was insufficient. Even after requesting, they keep turning off the air conditioner. Every time we leave the room. Given the air conditioner is poor, it never recovers from the buildup of heat. Even after calling the maintenance, they’re just acknowledge that their air conditioner is insufficient for the challenge. The room itself needs maintenance and touchup. The wallpaper is peeling, the baseboard is rotted. The doors are chipped. having stayed at other NH hotels, I am surprised and how poorly this one has been maintained.

Very convenient hotel for staying in Salamanca

Very comfortable beds and room for 3 adults after a long day of travel.

Hotel needs to be remodeled. Lobby looks nice but rooms are worn. The water in our room stopped working the second day. Water coming out looked like coffee. The people at the reception were very unhelpful and we had to demand bottled water to drink. Finally contacted Expedia and ended up with a very nice supervisor of resolution who got us moved to another room. Second room, air conditioning didn’t work. They did get it fixed. Staff unhelpful and unfriendly.

Great location - was in Bilboa predominantly for the Guggenheim. We took a bus to San Sebastian after and very easy, walkable from the hotel.
