We had reserved a suite at Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta/Duluth/Gwinnett County, 1725 Pineland Rd, Duluth, GA 30096, with two queen beds, a sofa bed, and a kitchen — essential for our family of three (my wife, our 12-year-old daughter, and myself) for an eight-day stay. Upon arrival on Saturday evening, the front desk informed us that our reserved room was “unavailable” due to a broken air conditioner and attempted to downgrade us. I insisted on having a kitchen, so they offered a king bed with a sofa bed and kitchen, saying they could not guarantee when (or if) we would get our original room. The next morning, another staff member told me we might be able to switch that evening. We returned from our day’s activities only to be told — again — that the room was unavailable. This time, after calling Expedia to intervene, the hotel promised we could switch on Monday at 11:00 a.m. When Monday came, we were told to vacate our room and leave our luggage at the desk until evening, even though we had specifically waited until 11:00 a.m. to make the change. I was extremely frustrated, as our schedule was again disrupted. Moments later, the front desk called to say we could move immediately — which we did, finally receiving the room we had booked from the start. This ordeal consumed another three days of our trip. There was no apology, no offer of compensation, and the entire process made it feel as though we had to fight simply to receive what we had already paid for.

Had to change rooms 3 times before finally settling with one that would get me through the night.Staff was super disrespectful! Room had foul odor. Water didn’t get hot, only Luke warm. Super slow draining in sink and shower. Never again will I ever stay here again!!

The only complaint I have is we were 5-7 minutes early for check in and the front area staff would not check us in until it was 3PM ON THE DOT. Not sure why 5 minutes before would've such a problem for her to check us in.??

I am very disappointed to share my recent experience with Hampton. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the hotel was not up to standard in terms of cleanliness. The room had an unpleasant odor, and there was dirt and debris around the tub, and sink. Hair in the bathroom and on the bedding. Hoping for a resolution, I attempted to reach out to the staff, but unfortunately, they were unhelpful and ignored my concerns. Given the state of the room and the lack of assistance from the staff, I made the decision that I could not stay there. I would not recommend this hotel.

2nd stay due to working in the area and beyond words. Showed up at 8:00am the following morning of our 4 day paid stay....to be met with attitude and rejection. Apparently they double booked my room and wanted to hold.my first night fee with no other rooms available! Ive ywt to receive.my refund amd will never stay there based on customer service alone.
