Toilets in the room are sooooo small compared to the size of the room itself. If you've ever been in the toilet of a hotel at a ski resort, where you knees almost touch the door when seated, this is pretty much it. No clue why the opted for that, especially when you consider they installed both a shower AND a bathtub... You can also add that it was extremly warm in the room, no clue why as the temperature was set to 15°. But this hotel is really well placed, its building and inside court are great, the staff is nice, and it was worth the price, so I think I'd go back there again if I had to visit Avignon again.

Weirdest hotel layout ever. No sockets to charge my phone in the entire room. No air conditioning. No WiFi. Avignon is great but there’s probably better deals in the area. They are wearing suits but it slept like a French motel 6.

Charming hotel in a very good location. The room (old section) was beautiful, with a view of the courtyard and fountain. The walls were thick and good windows prevented noise from the courtyard. Hallway noise was not an issue, due to the bedroom being through an additional door. Comfortable beds, with quality linens. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant, and it was excellent. The server was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was copious and good. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our trip, and we gladly would have booked additional nights if the trip itinerary had permitted.

Hôtel qui pourrait être superbe car l'emplacement et le cadre ( ancien cloître) s'y prêtent parfaitement. Cependant les chambres sont vraiment pas jolies ( déco inexistante, vieillissante, odeur d'égouts dans la salle d'eau). Rien à dire sur le personnels feminins mais le personnel masculin.....pas de sourire, l'impression de déranger.....bref ! Ce n'est pas un mauvais hôtel mais il y aurait des choses à revoir.

Chambre très satisfaisante et tranquille. Personnel très aimable et serviable. Environnement magnifique dans l'espace même du cloître et l'hôtel est à quelques minutes à pied des gares de trains et d'autocars ainsi que palais des papes

Beautiful hotel in a great location with parking! Our room was way better than the pictures showed.

The cost for breakfast was much, much higher than what it was worth.

Great location in old town, staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit tired and dated.

2 star hotel pretending to be a 4 star. Run down in a serious need of an upgrade. Beautiful building but Hôtel does not live up to its surroundings

We had a basement / garden room very dark and musty. Power went out in the morning. Staff however were great and really helpful.

Fantastic building, clean room with good bed, silent, free parking. Definitely not worth its four stars though, very basic on a solid 3-star level.
