Likely the best hotel gym we have ever used

An amazing find. We stay in Dublin a lot and just loved this hotel. The room was spacious and the bar area was relaxing. The breakfast needs a BIG improvement. It's costly which is fair for a 4 star hotel but offers little in the way of high quality food. Where is the salmon? Where is the fresh fruits that aren't in fruit salad? Where are the selections of cold meats and juices. Would not experience the breakfast again.

The Davenport is an elegant, well-maintained and well-appointed property that is in the perfect location to walk to so many sights in downtown Dublin! Its bar was beautiful and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. We loved how, even if you did not have breakfast in the restaurant, there were still fresh pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit set up in the lobby for the guests (but you have to get there early!) Staff was friendly and accommodating, and they even have umbrellas to borrow. Our room was gorgeously decorated and very cozy, and we loved the little touches like the coffee maker and kettle with an assortment of teas and coffees and even hot chocolate-- and even biscuits (cookies) to go with your beverage. We had a triple room, and we appreciated how the fold-out sofa was already made and ready for us when we checked in. I would definitely recommend The Davenport!

They use the gym across the way at the other hotel and it is spectacular. It’s a proper gym!! my location was great to talk to Trinity College and temple bar

Stayed at The Davenport coming into and leaving Ireland. I highly recommend staying there as it is an excellent hotel in a good location with an excellent breakfast buffet.

We really liked the location of the Davenport and it was a welcoming atmosphere when we first arrived. Our room was nice, comfortable, and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Food poor and limited. Nice staff. Didn’t always service the room. Once we returned to find the bed unmade and bins overflowing despite being out all day. Not sure if we would stay there again
