The cold and hot water labeling was backwards in the shower. I was able to figure it out but still.... And then on my bill there are two "facility fee" charges which I think is illegal in some states but somehow they got by with that here.

I was put in an ADU room I did not request; no bathtub. Also, I was on the end of the second floor and a few feet away a private party/buffet dinner had been set up..I had to walk right through it to get to my room. Afterward, the guests from this party hung out in the hall next to rooms..loud/rude. I've had better stays in lower priced hotels.

It was a nice hotel, the bed was comfortable. The front desk people were very nice. The downsides were, it was really hard to find the front door. We walked the entire building before realizing you basically have to go through the restaurant to get to the front desk. We had to ask for our VIP bottle of wine. And we wound up taking it home, because the glasses looked like a 5 y/o had rinsed them out. After looking at the pictures on Expedia, I was surprised the place is basically in an office type complex. But it was quiet.

In an unexpected area but they did a great job making it feel like we were in a secluded area. Rooms were big and amenities were great.

Stayed here for two nights because my mom had a medical appt on Monday. I booked here because I figured being part of the Heathman maybe it would hold high standards like the hotel in downtown Portland. The bed was broken and hard as a dirt floor, the room was dusty and dirty. My mom's feet were black from walking on the supposed clean floor. Both of us had allergy issues from the dust in the room. If I could rate it as a zero I would. I will never stay there again. For almost 500$ it was crappy, I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were way cleaner.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, Washington, and I can confidently say it deserves every bit of a 5-star rating! From the moment we arrived, the warm, rustic charm of the lodge enveloped us, perfectly blending Pacific Northwest ambiance with modern comforts. The hand-crafted Douglas Fir logs, soaring basalt fireplace, and Native-inspired artwork in the lobby created an inviting atmosphere that felt both luxurious and cozy. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with a comfortable bed, Keurig coffee maker, and a private balcony that offered a serene view. The new beds on the 3rd and 4th floors were a dream to sleep on, and the bathroom was spotless with a fantastic shower. The staff went above and beyond—every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The front desk team was quick to assist with recommendations for local attractions, and the service at Hudson’s Bar & Grill was outstanding. Speaking of Hudson’s, the food was exceptional! The farm-to-table Northwestern cuisine, paired with the restaurant’s stunning stone fireplace and high ceilings, made for a memorable dining experience. The lodge’s amenities added to the perfection of our stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were a hit with our family, and the fitness center was well-equipped for a quick workout. I also appreciated the convenience of the electric car chargers in the parking lot. The location is ideal!
