Heater in room very dated and did not work properly…some weird a/c button and a temperature dial…did not work

Hotel was a bit run down and could use some upgrades. Also located next to a bar, so it’s quite noisy until very late in the evening. Generally overpriced base on condition of the property. Upside is that it’s a great location. Very convenient to rail station and popular attractions

Staff were excellent. Room was average, large stain on the carpet, no cold water in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was cold.

Great hotel with spotless room and great service. There was a large queue at check-in so I was referred to the self service kiosk which was a seamless and extremely efficient alternative. Very impressed!

PARKING IS NOT FREE . I paid 36.us to park overnight and had a 3 block walk. Not exactly convenient when your handicapped. Room was decent but dated. Lets face it when you book with expedia you dont get the top shelf.

Expected better to be honest. Room was quite dated. Bedside lamp missing. Old, poor quality TV. The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together. Have stayed in much nicer hotels for much less money

This is the best Clayton Hotel we have stayed in and we have stayed in a few now. Breakfast 5/5 Room spaciousness 5/5 Staff friendliness 5/5, Emma on reception is outstanding Cleanliness and room cleaning 1/5. This is the only issue with this hotel. Housekeeping is abysmal. Will stay here again though as the rest of the stay was perfect.

Generally good. Convenient location, helpful staff, nice pool. The bathroom needs an uplift however - lots of black mould on the silicon around the shower detracts from an otherwise clean and comfortable room.

Hotel itself & stay beautiful. We ordered a meal at the bar we booked in for 8.30 the 4 of us my husbands fish and chips came an hour after our main meal was eaten. It was a disgrace. We talked to the manager who gave us a tree drink. We should never have been charged for the meal being an hour late ruined our night unfortunately.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town and the facilities, including a pool, sauna and steam, are more than adequate. The choice at breakfast was really good and we also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. The only downside was the bed as the mattress was not great and so I didn't get a good night's sleep. The lack of support in the mattress meant we were constantly rolling into the middle of the bed. It's a shame because otherwise I'd heartily recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was not free but worth the price! The staff exceptional! Our room was clean and front Desk could not have been more accommodating!

Great large room and comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff and easy online check-in. Car park available under the hotel for a small fee and great location.
