The hotel is in a great location and is a great budget option for travellers. Everything has been updated and the rooms were a great size. The floors are slightly creaky and we could somehow need hear the upstairs neighbours because of this. Otherwise it was pretty soundproof.
The breakfast was OK. Great if you want to stay on a budget, there is enough to feed you. It was budget food, so don’t come expecting your tastebuds to be whelmed. I found it weird that there was no milk or cream by the coffee. We had to go to the breakfast bar and take milk from one of the 3 milk dispensers by the cereal. Mildly inconvenient, considering 2 of the milks were in pitchers it should be possible to keep one by the coffee, which is on the other side of the dining area.
They only clean rooms once every 2 days. However, we were never able to get our room cleaned because we would return by 3pm to escape the hot weather and they were never near our end of the hallway by then. Fortunately the room was well stocked with towels so we were ok but this could be a problem if you have a longer stay.
The elevators are a bit tight, could be an issue for larger wheelchairs or strollers. They are also kind of scary, they make a horrible grinding sound which sounds like they are scraping the walls.
Overall it was a good stay and the price seemed fair, just a few small improvements or quirks described above.
