I have stayed at Park Hotel for 4 nights, and quite love the convenience of the hotel location a lot, just 5 min walking to the Nanjing Road West, opposite just right in front of People Square. Furthermore, I have learnt that the hotel has long history since 1934, was the highest building in Shanghai, room was comfortable, the housekeeping had done the room so fast during our breakfast, they already done their job. Also, our breakfast was great lot of choice both of Asian and Western. Just a quick shout out about the toilet smell, but it didn't disturb my stay, hotel were quiet at night, staffs were great support even in the cold day, they helped to lift the luggage to the ground floor, sorry that I don't know how to make the tip as there's no cash using. Bonus!!! the most famous "Butterfly Bread" of Shanghai (or even China?), just right here, you can follow the best smelling to find the shop beside the hotel.

The Park is a charming historic hotel in the heart of Shanghai—perfect for those who appreciate heritage. Rooms are spacious but a bit dated, with minor wear like peeling wallpaper and creaky floors. The park views are beautiful, and the location is unbeatable. Breakfast offers a strong Chinese selection with some Western options, though it can get crowded. The lobby café serves pleasant afternoon tea with live jazz, and the deli’s famous palmiers attract long lines. Staff are generally friendly, and the on-site museum adds a nice touch. A great choice for history lovers who don’t mind a little vintage charm.

The park is a lovely historic hotel - fabulous to be able to stay in a piece of Shanghai's history! The rooms are spacious but showing their age a bit with wallpaper peeling in spots and some creaky floorboards. The view over the park was beautiful and the location is hard to beat! Breakfast had a great range of Chinese food, with a few standard western options, it could get crowded and I had to share a table one morning. The cafe/bar in the lobby was pleasant with afternoon tea and a limited drinks menu and live music (pleasant lounge jazz), the deli is famous for its palmiers and people queue around the block to get them! The doorman was always very friendly, the staff at the desk were pleasant if not a little nonplussed. The hotel also had a great little museum on the second floor with their history. If you want to stay in an iconic Shanghai landmark and love history and don't mind dates rooms then the Park is a fabulous option. The nearby historical museum is great and the People's Park is lovely to wander through.

The marvelous historical hotel. Very beautiful, good located, comfortable bed, perfect pillows and mattress. You may open the window and enjoy sleeping with fresh air. Clean, well-equipped, you may feel the spirit of times here. The breakfast was delicious: mix of european and Chinese food. I loved this hotel. I found a book with historical photos of the hotel in my room- ot was very interesting and cute.
