Staff was great with all our answers. Room was clean. Location was good close to the theaters. Breakfast was great lot to choose from. Had a wonderful experience there.

The hotel is beautiful. We took two rooms. Nicely decorated and updated. Unfortunately one room had terrible water damage to the hardwood outside of the bathroom in front of the sink. It had lifted and was actually a trip hazard and hurt your feet when stepping on it. The hotel was fully booked so we did not request a different room. Breakfast is included. Centrally located as well. Staff very friendly.

Hotel is CENTRALLY located. Staff is helpful & personable. The hotel evokes the 30s, but with the amenities (high speed WIFI) one expects. Great shower! What more could you ask? A small wash cloth? We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were dated but very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is centrally located, most attractions were within 2 miles.

Decent room with high ceilings, no USB charging ports. Very small lifts (elevators). Arrived on a very hot day (36c+) and the AC barely kept pace. Surrounding area not the cleanest / nicest looking but the hotel staff are very friendly and ensure security.

Beautiful hotel, great decoration in rooms and public areas. Nice bkfst although a few more choices would be nice. Well meaning but inexperienced staff in bar. Nice guy at desk. Room tvs too complicated to operate. I gave up. Good location and close to subte.

Room was wonderful, the best shower pressure, large bath towels, bed and pillows very comfortable, courteous and helpful staff. Decor of hotel is very historic and ornate….just beautiful.

This is a good option if looking for classic type of hotel and traditional decor and service. Very good location on busy street, walking distance to restaurants and tourism sites. Note though there is no usb plug-in in room. Bed and pillow are a bit hard.

Overall good stay. Hotel is full of history, well located. Public areas are very ornate. Rooms are hit and miss. We booked a deluxe room but it had a stale smell and furniture was worn. We asked for another room, eventually Ricardo the front desk manager found us a large family room with a balcony which was more of the standard we would expect from a hotel of this calibre. We spent 5 days here and felt quite at home. The lobby bar served great cocktails. Breakfast was adequate. Would have been nice to have complimentary bottled water in the room but overall we were happy.

Clean, historic hotel. Staff speaks good English. Decent but small breakfast buffet. The main issue we had was the bathroom configuration. It has a sink area then a bath/toilet room which sounds normal, until you see that the bath/toilet room has a frosted glass door with large gaps on all sides. So if someone is brushing their teeth at a sink for example, they will easily see and hear everything happening in the bath/toilet room if they even glance at the glass door.

It was the best memory of old French styles. I can sell the old money.

Yes, the room was clean, it had good amenities and the location was excellent.
