Amazing place. Close to center and bit apartments. Breakfast great

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our overall experience at SHG Hotel was good. The hotel provided a comfortable stay, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast buffet was simple and basic—not extraordinary, but it offered enough variety to satisfy your morning needs and get your day started. While it may not be a standout feature of the hotel, it was adequate and convenient. The hotel served its purpose well, providing a clean and comfortable place to stay. We appreciated the hospitality and had a pleasant visit overall. Thank you to the SHG Hotel team for their service during our stay.

Breakfast was ok not much variety! Rooms are not sound proof! 2 nights had big groups stay & there was too much noise can hear footsteps, music, conversations.Hotel location is not in a good area! No extractor fan so we had to open the bathroom door to let steam out. There is only 1 plug socket in a triple room/suite, no heating or air conditioning available!

The breakfast is the same every day. Bored

They advertise A/C however it was turned off for the remainder of the cold season even though it was in the high 80’s and the room had no ventilation. They seemed to be able to turn on the ventilation in one room that had a plumbing leak and when moved to other room it could not be turned on. This is like saying “ we stop selling umbrellas at the end of September” then you have storms with days of rain but no umbrellas!! We were miserable!

Overall for the price the property was fine, it however is starting to show some wear and tear in areas.

Hotel de La Ville is a useful place to stay when visiting Vicenza with a car. The rooms are everything you would expect and the breakfast buffet was good, including a good selection of fruit. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the city gate of Vicenza.

Staff was friendly and room was spacious. We checked out the exercise facilities but the carpet seemed musty

Breakfast was lovely, however the room was in need of some tlc! Bathroom door got stuck when opened, cracks in paintwork, noisy air-conditioning, sink was slow to empty. The twin beds were uncomfortable. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

15 minute walk to station. Good hotel

This was a very nice hotel at one time but the area immediately surrounding the hotel is very sketchy. The hotel staff warned us not to go one direction at all. Breakfast included and pretty good.

To put it simply...it is impossible that this hotel is a 4.5 STAR...

I was with two children and the room was big. Very nearby is good pizzeria,walking distance, and was very convenient with children to have dinner.

Comfortable hotel with very good facilities, but in a rather run-down area of town. Going a few blocks away from the city centre, the side roads seem to be something of a red-light zone

A cheap option within walking distance of Verona train station. It’s an old but functional hotel and our room was clean. The area outside isn’t very nice for walking (a few homeless people hanging around) but the hotel has a car park so driving is an option. Also if you are coming from a big city you’ll be used to this - it’s just not the image I had in my head of Verona (opera & posh restaurants serving truffles and good wine was more my expectation)

Overall the experience was great. The neighborhood felt a bit unsafe but still okay.

Do not stay here!

The staff tried their very best to make our stay good. The poor hotel is in desperate need of a lot of maintenance. We had broken door handle, mold above the shower, leaking rain in the hallway. The neighbour hood is sketchy as well in evenings
