Good overall stay. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Rome - I walked everywhere. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is ok, the buffet selection is good but the juice is very watered down and the hot food was overcooked on more than one occasion. The rooms are better than photographed, I think everything has been freshened up and is immaculately clean. The walls are paper thin though so you can hear other rooms and people in corridor very clearly.

Hotel Barberini was a great place to stay during our visit to Rome. It was a very clean and modern hotel with great service.

This is a great little hotel, located perfectly in the Plazza Barberini, which is within walking distance of many of the tourist "must-sees." You can walk to Trevi, Spanish steps, Pantheon, and the hop-on-off-bus and metro are all with easy walking distances. There is also a host of shops, cafes, and side-walk dinning within a short distance.

I had a guest with limited mobility with me, and the front desk was wonderfully helpful when I had related questions. The rooftop breakfast room afforded beautiful views, and the staff was terrific. We will stay here again the next time we are in Rome.

It was very convenient and near to most of the attractions - within walkable distance . The breakfast on the roof top was excellent . Would definitely come back to stay here

Excellent, centrally located hotel in Rome. Very walkable to most major points of interest in the historical centre. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms and attractive common spaces. A word of caution that the beds tend towards extra-firmness. Those wanting a softer mattress might prefer a different stay.

Great hotel located in a very central area - short walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, as well as so many restaurants and shops. Our room was small, but perfect for 3 nights in Rome. You can also get breakfast included which is served on the top floor with a nice view overlooking the city. Our room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean. The bathroom was clean but parts of it could use an even better cleaning.

Beautiful place, in a central area, close to historic places of Rome (which are everywhere). Or room was small-ish but very comfortable, the bathroom and shower were fantastic. Hotel staff, are very nice, helpful and always trying to help with a smile on their face. The nearby avenue is busy at times, but we were at walking distance of many nice areas, including (a little longer walk) the Coliseum. We were in January last year. Weather was fine, you can make do with a shirt, jersey and a light jacket. And best of all, although there were plenty of tourists, our was nowhere near to what there are in summertime. And, room prices at Barberini were probably half or less of what they are in summer. Highly recommended, and I warmly recommend to visit Rome (and Italy) in winter (maybe Milan could be colder, the rest is really fine weather, less expensive and not packed at all (except Rome, and still is half-packed)

Hotel Barberini has the best staffs that I have experienced in Italy so far, location is also great and walking distance to all places

This hotel was excellent but the only bad thing is the service at the rooftop. Would not recommend the rooftop,but the hotel is a 5stars
