Fantastic location, so easy to get to the square & Doges Palace area. Staff very friendly & helpful. Beds were comfortable, water pressure in showers was great!

The hotel is in a great location. We had a great time in Venice and the staff were very helpful. The only confusion was the breakfast which we thought was paid for,as part of our reservation, but we were charged for breakfast during our checkout. Otherwise everything else was great

The room was nice, comfortable, and had a recently remodeled bathroom. Our room didn't have much of a view, but the location is perfect and you are mere steps away from the biggest attractions in Venice.

The property is in a great location and it has its own dock which is great, for coming from the airport or walking around town. I will say the breakfast was subpar compared to other places we stayed in Italy and our room had a really bad smell to it, and was really small. I had to prop open the bathroom door daily and keep the doors open to the balcony when we were in the room. It had a screen which was unfortunately shredded. luckily we didn't get mosquitos.

Had a great time in Venice and enjoyed our stay at Colombina Hotel! The staff was amazing - friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room was very nice, with a view overlooking the canal, and a very nice renovated bathroom (the bedroom furnishings are pretty dated, though). Wish I could rate this 4.5 stars rather than 4 - the only real downsides that we experienced during our stay were room temperature being quite warm (cold air didn't seem to ever flow in, only heat), and the terrible persistent mosquitos which prevented us from opening the windows for the cool air. One of the two windows had a screen on it, but it did not cover the entire window so the mosquitos always found a way in, and boy are they thirsty! We woke up to multiple new bites each day. Breakfast was pretty basic yet reliable, it included bacon, eggs, pastries, and simple beverages - no complaints there. The turnover staff was also great! Very nice location - about a 30 minute walk to the train station. We opted for the private water taxi to take us to/from the hotel - it is very expensive but worth it for the experience and overall ease (hop on, enjoy, hop off) over the packed and slow public boats.

Great location, try to charge and get money for everything is the only thing I would critique.

Great hotel. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Location is great in nice quite spot away from crowds but located close enough to major spots like St Marks (2) min walk and Rialto bridge maybe 10 minutes. The staff is absolutely amazing so kind and friendly from front desk to bar tenders to bell man and breakfast service they are truly wonderful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!!! I would stay a million more times if I could …this review is coming from a hard to please family!!!
