We were shocked to see roaches came on kitchen cabinet and onto the counter after we fixed dinner in the room!

The room was very clean and comfortable for me. The heat was great because it was chilly, lol. I didn't use it but I love the idea of having the room with the kitchenette.

The front desk man when I got there was lovely, he was the sweetest older man. The only problems I had was the room keys never worked like at all even when they weren’t by electronics. Then I got locked out of my room at 1 am because the key cards wouldn’t work again. Having no night attendant is fine if the key cards would actually work though, it was a pain to call someone then they had to page the people to come down from another floor which she was fast and really nice thankfully. The whole hotel needs an update bad. The room was alright, the air conditioner made a horrible sound when turning on though, and the appliances seem so old. The bed was really uncomfortable also. Other then that it was a normal stay , usually do it once a year and I come back because of price ( even though it went up $40 from a few months ago ) and it’s nice and quiet. If hotel would get updated and the doors get updated and rooms then it would have been a very lovely stay.

Suite was good and clean but there was a very strong smell like a new paint and it was was going in our lungs even I couldn’t sleep whole night that smell was in the whole suite even in the blankets, bed pillows it was everywhere in the air .

It was nice! The cleaning could have been a little better but it was good!

The breakfast was limited to oatmeal packets and granola bar. Many hotels have these available 24 hours. I wanted a place that had a breakfast because I had an early appointment. There was no protein, no milk, no juice, nothing cold, nothing hot, and no fruit. It should not be advertised as breakfast included.

The bed wasn't that comfortable. The elevators are what I worried about. The elevators weren't clean, and I was afraid I would get stuck in them because of the sound, and we were on the 4th floor.

The room was suitable but the fridge would not cool down very well and the kitchen in general was really dated. There was black mold growing under the sink which we purchased spray to remove in order to store things. Where we were located, the internet was very poor. The wifi barely reached and we had to pay for the premium internet since we both work from home. We also left with bites on our legs, arms, and midsection. We looked and didn't see bed bugs but something definitely ate us alive. There was at least one night when no one was available at reception. We made numerous trips to the front desk and called many times with no answer. There was an altercation outside of our room where someone was threatened with a gun. It was frightening and resulted in 5 police officers. The hotel reacted quickly to this issue but it was very alarming. It also appears that there are a few people who live out of their car in the adjoining parking lot. I will not stay at this location in the future.

Excellent service, home away from home

We were not expecting a 5 star but, at $152 a night at least expected a normal but older hotel. Everything was really run down and worn out. The kitchen had no dishes 1 dishtowel & nothing else, they required you to go to the front desk and request Dishes, coffee pot, silverware, cookware etc,,and take them to your room (due to covid). They put out the Coffee, Cereal bars and muffin packets at 6 am, and no one checks on it until 8am. The hot water in the room was not working and when I was standing at the front desk to discuss it. The desk person was sitting in the chair behind me and made himself scarce, until his replacement showed up ..I did see him walking with a friend, when I went for a walk, because "the Newley renovated Gym" which consisted of a few cardio machines. They did not work due to the emergency keys missing and even the TV remote was missing, and that was one of their selling points..Newley renovated gym. We had to pay more to have a room with a double bed, and I could guess why they charge per bed, also you had to bring your towels to the front desk to have them exchanged. We would have left right away, if it was not for travel exhaustion.
