Breakfast was pricy

We have stayed at the Royal York whenever we are in Toronto for the last 40 years. It was always a special place and happy to see and experience that with the changes and upgrades, that its unique charm and history is respected throughout.

We love the Royal York. Paul at the first desk was an absolute angel. We arrived early and he had a room for us. It was my daughter’s birthday and he had sweets and drinks sent up. He was incredible. This hotel, with its history, staff and ambience makes you feel like royalty. We love it here and always go back. Make sure you get a drink at the Library as well. Highly recommend

I was in a corner room with 2 doubles, it was very spacious and quiet. Single traveler. Lovely hotel

I can't really comment on the hotel itself as I couldnt get checked in due to lacking a card (despite having already paid for the booking). I've never been treated more disrespectfully in many years of traveling as I was by this hotel. Because of them I had to sleep at the airport as a solo female traveller. Absolutely atrocious way to treat anyone, let alone a guest.

I was charged for drinks from the bar fridge but didn't take anything from the fridge! I'm still annoyed about the unjustified charge.

Great location to Union Station and great restaurants. Staff was very nice when checking in and provided helpful advice for travel the next day.

The staff were all remarkable. From the moment I walked up to the doors, it was a pleasant experience.

The rooms feel comfortable and lush. The in suite dining experience is the best by far, from the moment the call is recieved to the drop off - great attention to details and service experience. Oh, the house keeping staff is just the most friendliest going out of their way to ensure my stay was great.

Clean room, excellent distance from Union Station (across the street) and Scotiabank Arena. The breakfast menu is expensive, but to be expected.

Loved it! We had a great time here, the staff was amazing, the room was awesome and the location was perfect for what we had planned in Toronto.
