Excellent experience. Friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere. Cocktails and food all amazing too. Gym, pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room also excellent! Signature scent is absolutely lovely and the rooms are so well appointed.

Room wasn’t ready, reception offered a credit for a drink / bite, forgot to apply the credit until I called later, electric car was not charged despite being clear about needing it and verifying it was an option. Car valet kept making excuses but wouldn’t apologize

Beautiful old hotel that has been completely updated with the most up to date conveniences. Fantastic staff and service- perfect location near the key financial district locations. It truly derives each one of its five star rating.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special, surprising her with a handwritten card, a cake, and a room upgrade. We loved our room especially the view of the CN Tower and the toiletries were a lovely touch. I also really appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. We made full use of the pool, sauna, hot tub, and steam room, all of which were fantastic. Every staff member we interacted with was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be returning.

The rooms were small but the hotel is absolutely beautiful. I found the bell staff, the wait staff very good however I had two bad experiences with the staff at the desk. They called me at 10:30 at night when I had two small kids in bed to come down with my credit card because they hadn't put it in correctly. That was their mistake and I don't think you should ever be calling up to a guests room that late. Especially one that had been with you four nights already.

We always stay at the Royal York when in Toronto. The rooms and staff are always perfect and in the winter we always have great options for room service dining....although we did miss seeing the fish and chips on the menu this past visit. A stopover at the York is always a great finishing touch to our travels. Next visit will be this April for a game at Scotiabank Arena, can't wait!

Check-in took 30 + min. Long day of travelling and then had to stand in line for 30 min to get checked in... not fun.
