Hotel is aged but really clean. pool and hot tub were closed

Good value and comfy beds. The breakfast is good for complimentary and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was very clean, with a generous supply of fresh towels. The sheets smelled wonderful, and the pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The continental breakfast was good — I’d rate it 7/10. While we appreciated the complimentary breakfast, the food wasn’t replenished as quickly as expected. We waited about 15-20 minutes for the eggs and sausages to be refilled. I’d especially like to highlight the reception staff for their warm welcome and outstanding service. They went above and beyond by showing us two different rooms so we could compare. When our event in Stony Plain was cut short, we needed to cancel one night of our stay, and they kindly waived the charge, which we truly appreciated. Although the pool, hot tub, and fitness area looked very inviting, we weren’t able to use them due to our hectic schedule. Overall, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel is older. The beds were hard and squeaky. The beds were clean and so was the bathrooms but the chairs and carpet were stained. At 2 am drunk people were banging on our door and continued to make noise throughout the night. Not the hotels fault but they didn’t police it either.

No breakfast, way more money than the previous night. Just bad 2 nights in a row. But who cares right???

No hot water, air conditioning unit squealed all night. BRUTAL

The room was very clean. The continental breakfast was great, as it had a little of everything. We stayed with pets and they were excellent about it. All the best fast food places were right near by. I would recommend. Especially since the price was so reasonable.

Check in was fine. Pleasant front staff. Room was old. No hot water for my morning shower. Breakfast was okay. Didn’t sleep as it was much too noisy. Should keep kids and night walkers on the bottom floor only.

Courteous staff

The staff and room were very good for the price. The Continental Breakfast was one of the better breakfasts I’ve had, many choices and good variety. I was very disappointed with the fact the pool was out of service one of the main reasons I chose to book here. My grandsons were very sad they couldn’t go into the pool and hot tub.

Avoid this location. We stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham in Stony Plain on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, checked in around 8:00 PM. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. The lady at the desk was speaking in her own language with another staff member and laughing loudly while I stood waiting to check in. I have booked 2 rooms and she gave me key for only one room after spending 10 minutes at the front desk. When I asked for the key for the second room, she was rude and said she did not know that you have 2 rooms booked and that Inhabe to tell her in the beginning. 2 rooms were booked in the same booking. Then later we ordered food online. When food delivery accidentally spilled on the floor when the delivery driver was handing it over to me, I immediately apologized and asked for a broom so I could clean it myself. Her response was disrespectful and dismissive: “What do you want me to do? This is not a restaurant.” I was not asking staff to clean it—only for basic courtesy. We have stayed at this location before with no issues, but this experience was unacceptable. If professionalism and basic respect matter to you, do not book the Travelodge by Wyndham Stony Plain.

Room clean, staff were phenomenal and the stay was great.

Didnt end up staying at this hotel. Left after about 2.5 hrs and got a hotel across the highway at Stony Inn and Suites. The rooms smelled musty, like wet clothes that got forgotten and developed mold. Had some issues with the wifi as well. Front desk offered to move us to a different room and I checked out two other rooms but each one still had that smell. Said they couldnt cancel and refund because I was checked in for 3 hrs when we had checked in and went for dinner. Only spent about half an hour in the room itself. Tried to get refund through Expedia, who contacted the hotels front desk and the manager refused to provide a refund. The smell alone indicates there may be some kind of mold/water damage issue which to me is a health concern. The hotel had also mentioned during booking that the hot tub and pool werent available as their boiler broke over Christmas. It would seem this place needs some investment into maintenence and cleaning. Would not recommend booking here.
