This was a wonderful place to relax and celebrate our 55th anniversary. It was peaceful and the staff was very accommodating. We added an extra night and it was no problem at all. It was in a very nice area of town. Restaurants and shopping were very close.

the facility building itself is very nice however they where extremely understaffed. Breakfast ran out everyday along with silverware and dishes. They had no extra blankets instead gave me a sheet for the pull out bed. Ate my oatmeal with a plastic fork one day because there was no clean dishes

I booked a 2 double bed 1 bedroom suite and was given a 1 king bed suite. This type of room did not work for my family and was told they had over booked by mistake. I was given a discount for the inconvenience and booked into the correct room type the next day. Although the manager did everything to try to remedy the situation, this is the second time I've been given the wrong room type due to overbooking issues.

The suite styles rooms were perfect setup for our needs but the complex itself could used a little upgrade. Our shower never got hot, toliet didnt flush real good and the grounds were run down. But the separate room was great to allow our twins to nap comfortably while we stayed in the main room. The kitchen was also a nice-to-have with kids. Breakfast was definitely convenient but nothing to write home about. Overall, i would stay again if traveling with kids but otherwise I would look elsewhere next time in Colorado Springs.

This hotel was spacious and clean, but seemed to have low resources. Little things such as no hand soap for the rooms (they were out) and receiving 3 towels for a room that slept 6. Breakfast was good but very short staffed, they quickly ran out of plates and utensils. Housekeeping came once during our four night stay. Pool area was small but clean, we liked the outdoor grill usage.

It was nice to have a large breakfast selection but quality was to be desired. Eggs were imitation eggs were not good and cold and watery. Have had better egg substitute. Maybe offer less options but better quality?? Waffles were very good and enjoyed the fresh blueberries and strawberries.

We were here a week and found the room quiet and conveniently located. Bed a little hard for our liking, but not bad.

Great location and friendly staff. Noticably updgraded which is nice, but feels unfinished. Curtains had noticable water damage on the liner, closet doors were missing hardware and falling off the channeling. Water takes 10 min to warm up on the 3rd level (beware!), breakfast was so-so, and parking lot had a monterious unmarked pothole. The bed was nice, kitchen area was clean, and hotel provided toiletries

My experience at this hotel was unusual. When we arrived around midnight, the manager opened the door for us and began letting us know that the Hilton booking system was down for scheduled maintenance. This meant he didn’t know which room we were supposed to go in. After I asked whether or not someone had printed off the reservations in advance, he looked around and found them. We booked a king suite, but the room we ended up in was an accessible king suite. We did not require an accessible room, and I’m glad we didn’t. In order to get through the maze to arrive at our accessible suite, we had to push through a very heavy “fire door” that noted it was to remain closed at all times. There was no automated door opener. If I were in a wheelchair, I would have been pissed. After we finally settled into our room after a long day of travel, we were awoken by the fire alarm going off at 2am. The fire alarm was the most disorienting thing I’ve experienced. I’m glad I’m not epileptic, because the strobe lights would have given me a seizure. After finally finding my way back through the maze to the front desk and commiserating with a handful of other guests, we learned there was no fore and no discernible reason for the alarm. After this incredibly disruptive experience, our stay was uneventful. The staff were nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Overall, it’s a decent hotel, but after our experience, I can’t possibly return.

Overall, it was a decent stay but not sure I'd be back or recommend first choice for visitors. My wife and I are actually local to the area and needed a place to stay for the night while our house was having work done. We chose this hotel because it was close to our house, we liked the separate sitting area from the bed, plus the full size fridge and dishes were helpful. Some pros: *Clean and spacious room *Bed and pillows were comfortable enough (not amazing, but not terrible) *Room temperature was comfortable and not too loud (my wife is a sensitive sleeper so hotels with too loud of heater / AC are tough for us) Cons *The TV channel selection was very limited *Lighting - this may be really nitpicky and selective of us, but we found the lighting to be very harsh and way too bright. It was hard to sufficiently relax so we basically had no lights on. It would have been nice if there was a softer lighting option *Main microwave was broken and the one on the table was lopsided. We understand if the replacement is needed, but we would have found it helpful if an effort had been made to make it straight

I like the Briargate area. The hotel is mid update but alot of it was pretty run down. Our shower faucet leaked everywhere. Almost every light fixture and everything else on the walls were crooked. There's just a lot of shotty workmanship throughout the hotel. Room size is better than the hilton nextdoor for the same price this is my choice in the area.

Property is undergoing major renovations on the first floor. Walls are being painted or refinished throughout the property. I think the rate should have been discounted to compensate for this. But the breakfast was great.
