Staff were amazing and very friendly and very helpful. The accommodation itself is fine perfect for putting your head down in but it’s outdated. The bathrooms are tiny and outdated. No seal on the shower door meaning the whole floor is covered in water. There is no air conditioning in the rooms which this would benefit, there are heaters instead of air conditioning.

The staff here were amazing; so helpful and friendly. There is a 24 hour bakery right next door wuth great selections. Also the main city centre is a short 15 minute walk away

Für eine Frau, war es eine gefühlt nicht unbedingt sichere Gegend (wenn man zu Fuß ins Zentrum laufen wollte). Das Frühstücksbuffet war top und abwechslungsreich. Sauberkeit ganz gut.

Ok. Elevator fits only one person with 1 luggage item. Breakfast is good. Location is great. Around corner from metro. Steps from restaurants.

The front desk staff at Crystal City were helpful, and my room was centrally located at a convenient place for hotel pickups. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety. However, because I stayed there for two weeks, I could have used an armchair, microwave and tissue in the room. Also, towards the end of my stay, a large group of teenagers arrived at the hotel late at night and kept me up. The hotel staff tried to mitigate the circumstances, but the problem persisted for hours.

Rooms are rather small, shower extremely small also, one of the sheets had a burn hole in it. Breakfast was alright, few options but not that bad. Located next to meteo station bur can be rather noisey at night. AC in room did not work, it would get rather hot inside the room at night even with the low temperatures outside.

Central location, friendly service, clean rooms; definitely worth booking a room with balcony!

Very central, right at the Miraculicks metro station, with good tavernas and coffee-shops just around the block. Clean, classic rooms with fridge & coffee-maker; from the balconies you might get to see the Arcropolis and a bit of the ocean. Basic breakfast included in the room rate on most booking pages. Recommendable for city explorations and business-trips.

This hotel has worked every time I've been there. It's located just next to the metro at the square. It's always been a good choice! Would recommend!

We were moved to Golden City hotel because of some plumbingi issue and was given free dinner

I booked my room here 6 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel to check-in they had given my room away to a walk-in couple who were staying 2 nights. I was only staying one. They transferred us to a different hotel which was of less quality and in a not so nice neighbourhood. We also had to wait a half hour for someone to.drive us there. Very dissapointed. Would not reccomend this hotel at all.

Stayed here on our final night of vacation, not much left in Athens to book. Back from the islands, Hotel staff were not outgoing or too friendly. They were not rude, just bland. The hotel has carpet in the rooms and the shower glass was insufficient to stop water getting on the bathroom floor. Area is not as bad as others indicate (Athens is very urban ghetto but safe IMO). I would not stay here again.

Good clean budget hotel. Not in the best part of town but transportation was easy and front desk staff were great and had a taxi waiting for us at the airport after an 11 hour flight to a new country it’s nice to see someone waiting with you name on a sign.
