We stayed in the Sandymount for two nights. I had previously been told it was busy but when we arrived I was amazed at the number of cars in the car park. This was a good sign. The hotel was lovely and we had great rooms and the staff were attentive at all times. Not far from the city centre by car, and I would have been prepared to walk if others in my party would have joined me. The breakfast was good. The property itself is quirky because it is effectively a bunch of old victorian villas joined together and extended at the rear. Some of the rooms might not have an external view, but the rooms were well decorated and furnished and the little distance to the city centre meant some peace and tranquility. I would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I have stayed here several times in the past year and have enjoyed every visit. All the staff are excellent, from Maria at breakfast, Jamie in the bar to all the reception and room staff. They ALL make you feel welcome and valued.

The hotel was very nice, in a beautiful neighborhood and the breakfast was great. The room was downstairs and a little on the small side for three people. Beautiful hotel for a reasonable price for one night.

It's great for a game at the Aviva, but beyond that it's a bit meh.

Cannot recommend this Hotel enough. It’s in a superb location for the Aviva Stadium and easy access to central Dublin. Hotel and especially the bedroom was spotlessly clean. Very roomy double bedroom with a very comfortable bed Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in any hotel and the bar had a great selection of drinks. We will stay there again and cannot not recommend to stay enough

Clean room, good restaurant, free parking. The hotel was under construction when we stayed and our room 232 was directly in front of it. Very noisy on Friday morning especially since we realized our room windows were slightly open at the top. Convenient location to airport.

The location is a 5 min walk from Aviva stadium and the dart train into downtown Dublin! When there isn’t a rugby match at the stadium the Neigborhood is very quiet and walkable to local coffee shops in sandymount! Rooms are pretty small but well done and comfortable!

This is a beautiful hotel and the best place to stay if attending the Aviva stadium. A great variation of dining options from bar food to á la carte - reasonably priced too. It laid on special additional services for the 6 Nations Rugby, BBQ, buffet, outside beer tent, and an outstanding male choir on match day. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. On site parking is an absolute bonus when staying central. With the Dart stop on its doorstep and the beautiful "village" of Sandymount a short walk, the Sandymount Hotel is an excellent base for exploring the whole city.

Walls in bedroom very thin. Could hear other people’s tvs, showers and toilets flushing. Disappointing as staff nice and food good. Two nights of little
