Wonderful stay - the staff are a really nice bunch of people. Brilliant location and great for exploring the local area overlooking the town :)

We loved room 114 with a balcony and jacuzzi bath. The food - breakfast and dinner - were wonderful and the staff invariably charming (especially Manuel). The spa was excellent with a decent pool, steam room and sauna and a gym, all of which we used. A brilliant little holiday.

The hotel is lovely, staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean. The breakfast has plenty of choice with healthy options available. The waiters and waitresses were lovely. My only issue was with the facilities. We specifically chose this hotel for the outdoor hydropool as we've stayed here before and it was amazing, however when we got there the hydropool was closed. This was very disappointing as we were not told that the some of the facilities were not available, if we had been informed we would have liked to have rescheduled for a different day so we could fully enjoy the time.

Friendly staff great location

Room was clean and tidy, heated to a pleasant temperature The staff were impeccable as in friendly and helpful even to the point of feeling familiar We can't fault anything. We will be back. However I did notice a few problems around the pool causes by moisture however I would never let that spoil my up most opinion of a great hotel but I know some folks will. Thank you to all at the hotel. I love Ambleside

Nothing was too much trouble for this hotel. One of the reception staff even gave advise on walks from the hotel door. Our room was superb and definitely lived up to our expectations having read the positive reviews from other travellers.

Great hotel. Location close to shops, pubs and restaurants and also not far for walks and exploring the countryside. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was nice and the spa was great too and not too busy! Would recommend and would stay here again ☺️
