The hotel is very good, you can stay there without any problem, I recommend it! The staff was very friendly, breakfast very good... Just one point for me was not good, as it is a not cheap stay, they must offer coffee/tea in the room and a kettle as courtesy. Another point, the TV is not in front of the bed, it is on the side, in front of the bed there is a big empty wall... so, in my opinion something is wrong in the layout of the room... but it was a good stay, you can find shops near by, free parking on street in front of Hotel.

On arrival to this Hotel the entrance is unkempt. Weeds in flower beds. Staff were nice and helpful. Some lights in the room not working. No kettle. Safe not working. Bathroom door not working. Counters very dirty. Purchased a double room. Got two singles shunted and a single duvet. Good location.

As one who visits this hotel twice a year, the friendly staff's attention to their guests is the principle reason why one continues to return year after year.

Nice spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. Lack of coffee/tea but this may be down to Covid19 measures in place. Overall a pleasant stay.

The front reception was not friendly. At the beginning they’ve given us room I had to request to change. It was not somewhere I want to go back.

I have been travelling to this hotel twice a year for 24 years. That statement indicates that I am very happy with the establishment.

Check in person was very unfriendly but apart from that, everything was good.

Good location close to the center but still quiet and tucked in by a shaded green area. Good breakfast options. Overall dated structure though, with lack of proper a/c in the rooms as a MAJOR flaw.

Excellent Hotel, was very helpful and friendly staff that spoke good English. Only issue was the mattress was far too soft. medium firm mattress recommend.

We had a two-night stay in the hotel, and the hotel responded to our expectations. Very friendly staff and our wishes were directly reacted. The hotel has already seen decades, and some fresh up would not make any harm (especially the Spa area looks old and not very welcoming, but everything is clean and works). Rooms were lately renovated so they were more cosy and up to date. Breakfast was good (pretty standard: eggs, bread, yoghurt... Especially coffee and juices were in good quality). However, we found 17€ expensive for a standard breakfast. All in all, our stay was very good.

We've stayed here a few times when visiting M-G and always enjoy the experience. This was our first time post-renovation, and I was quite impressed. The rooms are very nicely furnished and decorated. My only wish is that they left the pool open longer for people to use at night. But it's a great location (by the Bunter Garten and super close to the Altstadt and downtown, and an easy walk to the train station. It's also well-priced for the level of hotel. We often stay at air bnbs when we travel, but this was actually a better deal in a better location in M-G.
