We booked two rooms one for us and one for our teenage girls so we can be comfortable in this “4 star hotel”and we paid a hefty price. When we checked in they gave us 2 terrible rooms. Tiny, really smelly, and dirty rooms. Nothing like the picture. We were shocked. I went down to try to change rooms. He said all rooms are booked. And after negotiations and another angry screaming guest, they changed our rooms to one smelly and one that is not but the rooms are really far from each others. The hotel is in a great location. But very run down with smelly dirty rooms. We would not stay there again. We’re really disappointed.

We loved the garden terrace overlooking the Grande Canal and Rialto Bridge. What an unexpected gem that was! The room was charming. Staff was very friendly. They event provided an excursion to Murano.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel was traditional and beautiful. Our room (121) was amazing with views over the canal and Rialto Bridge. Yes, a bit noisy on a Friday night when the well deserved locals had a few drinks but the general hub of the canal and atmosphere was well worth it. Breakfast was more than adequate. We never needed lunch. Meal in the Rialto Restaurant was very nice. The terrace was very nice for an afternoon drink. We'd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hotel Rialto the last week of May 2025. Located right next to the Rialto Bridge. It was very convenient as the Vaporetto Water Bus Rialto stop for both Lines 1 & 2 and a Water Taxi stand are both just a very short walk from the hotel entrance. Large variety of freshly baked goods at breakfast - fresh croissants, pastries, hot items, deli, which can be eaten inside or outside. There is also a lovely terrace to relax on and have a glass of wine while enjoying the view!

If Venice is a bucket list trip then this hotel is highly "splurge worthy"! You are literally at the steps of the Rialto Bridge & vaporetto docks. The staff were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Venice. It’s right at the Rialto waterbus station and a10 min walk to San Marco Piazza. The hotel has a great full service restaurant, and the buffet style breakfast is included for guests at the hotel. Our room with a double bed was small but well appointed, and the bathroom was big. They do provide a shower/hair bath wash combo and bars of soap.

The Rialto Hotel is right in the hub of Venice. Literally at the foot of the Rialto Bridge you can feel the pulse of this romantic and unique city. The service is exceptional and the breakfast buffet did not disappoint.

Very central location. Area swamped by tourists, but you step inside and all quiet. Ok room, nothing special. Hotel has elevator. Shower stall water surges very hot then cold then ok then hot, etc

Hotel Rialto is in the perfect place to see Venice. Walk out the door, and there is the bridge. The check in desk staff was superb! We loved that we could store our luggage safely while waiting for our room or when we were waiting for our taxi to go to the airport. They arranged the taxi, got us a free trip to Murano Island, and let us know what places are a must see. Beds weren’t the most comfortable, but room was.

Disappointed. The only good element of the hotel as the location. The staff was rude when we checked in, we attempted to make pleasantries and he was obviously

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Rialto and would definitely return. The hotel is traditional Venetian style and felt very authentic. It is a little faded in parts but this adds to its charm. If you are looking for a modern contemporary hotel it probably isn’t for you but if you like a more traditional style the value for money it offers for its location is fantastic. It is spotlessly clean with fresh towels and beds made up every day, the staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful. Breakfast is included and can be taken inside or outside. Just be aware that there is no bar in the hotel so you need to bring your own or pop to the bar next door and get your drinks if you want to go up to the Panoramic Terrace which has amazing views of the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. I would also mention the hotel has a lot of interior stairs, we were on the 3rd floor with the lift only going to the first floor so if you have mobility issues request a room on a lower floor. Fabulous location with easy transport right outside to and from the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ✨
