We had a wonderful stay at Lakeside Hotel & Conference Centre. The location is fantastic, and the lake views are beautiful. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. Room service was excellent, delicious, and very convenient The only area that could use some improvement is that the rooms facing the lake feel a little dated. Aside from that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Pine Hills in Penticton is the perfect “short but not a pitch‑and‑putt” executive par4 course one par 4, plenty of hills, and just enough challenge to make you question your club choices. The staff were awesome, especially with their sage advice on hole 3, which honestly felt like insider trading for golf. The course is super walkable, so unless your knees are plotting against you, skip the cart. The scenery is unreal: hills, trees, and Lake Okanagan showing off in the background. At one point a buck deer casually wandered across the fairway like he was the course marshal. Didn’t care about my swing, didn’t pay green fees, just vibes. Great views, friendly staff, fun layout and wildlife with better etiquette than some golfers. Highly recommend.

Our family hosted a wedding at Penticton Lakeside Resort. Everything turned out fabulous! The garden area where the ceremony was held was beautiful with a little view of the lake. The banquet room for the reception and dance was great. The food was enjoyed by all! Most of all the service was fantastic! The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Whatever we needed they were there. Many of the guests were traveling. They really loved that they could arrive, park the car and enjoy the beach, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or other special event.

Overall enjoyed our stay at the hotel. However the hotel gets 4 stars because I really do appreciate having curtains or something to help darken the room. We stayed in one of the larger suites and each window had its own blind but there was a significant gap between each blind. This was in both the bedroom and the living space. Service and location - fantastic. But if you prefer to have a darker room I would recommend bringing an eye mask or something like that to keep the space dark.

The location is great, but the experience seems disappointing, overpriced. Breakfast and parking not included (no indication of parking charge at check-in or check-out). Rooms in separate building with views of the lake, but also of the parking lot and main hotel rooftop. Decor a gloomy grey that takes away from beautiful wood finishings. Shower pressure low, not enough towel hooks. Dresser so low need to be on your knees to access. Overall, small annoyances that add up to a disappointing experience. I noticed others’ less than enthusiastic reviews before we booked. Should have believed them.
