Super helpful staff, amazing room, great spa

At a cost of £196 per night, without breakfast. There is a charge of £20 per person to use the pool and sauna - no treatments. Never been charged to use a hotel pool, as a paying guest. Dinner - 6 of us, steak arrived without the ordered mash and peppercorn sauce ( no sauce at all) took 14 mins to get sauce and potato. Sauce was separated, with a layer of ? Oil on top, terrible. 2 of the party got food 15 mins before the rest of us. My food was ok, bu I ordered broccoli as a side, which was cold. Breakfast luke warm. Bath would not empty, switch broken. Blinds won't open. Pool and jacuzzi were very cool. outside sauna took 15 mins to heat up. Ordered coffee in the lounge beside reception on, as it was served we were ushered out to the 'champagne ' bar at the other end of the Hotel, as they had to set up for a conference lunch in the lounge. Would never stay here again, and some guests we talked to had paid £350 per night!!

We have been number of times and have never been disappointed it is a lovely experience to have .And recommend it .

Lovely hotel. Great food and beautiful spa

Beautiful building but lack of attention to detail. Upon arrival in spa, went to make a cup of hot tea and there was no sugar or stir sticks or spoons. Wanted to enjoy the hot tub before massage and it was like a barely warm bath plus the jets were spraying up at your face so you couldn’t sit without getting water in the face. Two lockers didn’t work. The massage staff was friendly but it was definitely fluff and buff- not much pressure so that was a disappointment. The main restaurant was fully booked and only time we could eat at the casual bar was 9 pm- so we had no dinner. Spa suite was spacious and well designed but the lights didn’t work and the hairdryer back piece kept falling off. Not impressed.

Stunning hotel set in amazing grounds. Comfy bed with lovely bath and wonderful spa facilities. Bar was also lovely

Everything was perfect and relaxing though the breakfast in bed was cold.

Quite Nice

Room lovely and clean and spacious even though was in the cosy attic room, pleasantly surprised as thought it would be much smaller. Food in Reflections restaurant for dinner was lovely cannot fault it and staff great, drinks in Champagne bar also very nice although not sure a service charge for drinks is quite justified but as could not fault staff did not mind paying it. Breakfast was lovely also cannot fault it, very good value for money and good quality food, great choice of food and drinks, good portion sizes. Spa was lovely and clean and changing rooms were clean and spacious, however found the temperature of the water in the jacuzzis, hydrotherapy pool and normal pool all to be much too cold especially in the jacuzzis and hydrotherapy pool where you expect the water to be warm. Did not use the spa facilities as much as normally would due to the temperature of the water so was quite disappointed. A lot of other customers were also complaining of the same issue during our stay. Only other fault was that our bill at check out had quite a few errors on it and extra charges, there were drinks on our bill which we did not have, however this was quickly resolved and staff were very polite and helpful in rectifying this for us. Overall great stay, if was not a 5 star hotel would not be so picky but expect very high quality and standards for a 5 star especially when you pay a high price to stay and also pay extra to use the spa.

Lovely hotel with very nice surroundings however the spa was very expensive and not included in the room price which other competitors do

It was OK nothing very special and didn't blow me away, Spa very nice but the pool app didn't work and it all was app driven for other services to book etc.

Good service from hotel staff and staff in the hotel bar. Property is beautiful but a little tired and dated. Room in eaves had faded material on headboard and chairs. Spa is nice. It's small, but weren't busy so not a problem.

Lovely spa and hotel. Amazing service from all staff but in particular, Finley absolutely slayed.
