Clean and friendly

It was a nice piece to have a holiday, nice comfy beds and clean toilet/shower. Good breakfast but items a bit limited, although much more than enough to have a belly full of breakfast. We enjoyed our stay overall

Everything was absolutely fine except the breakfast. Particularly impressed with the the check in experience. However, it was a great shame to find all the food at breakfast was cold, especially as we were there when it opened at 06.30hrs.

Room was large and quiet. Staff was very helpful.

The hotel is a little tired but still comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend eating here though. The evening meal was pretty grim.

Friendly and professional staff. Food was good, decent beers on tap. Shame there was no sports channels to watch the football.

Arrived at hotel 20 min earlier than the check in time. Was told our room wasn’t ready but we could sit and wait till 3pm if we wanted. Nice quite hotel, there was also a restaurant on site but quite a few things off the menu, due to deliveries/ staffing. Very comfortable beds. Great breakfast, plenty of choice.

Room was clean bed comfortable. breakfasts ok, ordered an evening meal which was inedible . Sent it back and the replacement was not much better. I’m not one to complain . this was the first time I’ve ever sent a meal back

We arrived quite late and due to being a bank holiday weekend the restaurant had sold out of many items on menu so had to find alternative restaurants but as for everything else we had an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast set up is chaotic and not kept topped up well. Needs a better system put in place.

The room was huge and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, we received brilliant service from start to finish, perfectly situated for the ferry port!!

This Hotel was ideally located for us to use the park-and-ride into Portsmouth which was a 5 min drive away. There is also a Sainsbury's just 2 mins drive up the road. Apart from that there is nothing else around this Hotel. The room was large but the air-conditioning didn't work. The meals options gave a lot of choice i.e. burgers, pizza and pub grub. We ate there twice in the evenings and it was OK. Breakfast choice was good however the Hotel lets itself down with insufficient staffing. Therefore tables were left uncleared, things ran out like coffee, bacon etc. So, the few staff there seemed continually stressed. Make sure you register your vehicle when you get there. The car park is run by a separate company so use the machine in Reception to enter your vehicle and duration details.

Very good. Spacious and clean. Breakfast had plenty of choice although very busy at times. Could be more advise regarding the bus service to Portsmouth! Overall would recommend.

Best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at, room lovely, spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast included was really good, choice of cooked and continental. Thanks for the hospitality
