Loved our time. Room was clean and bright. Facilities are amazing for kids and parents. You can play tennis for a date while the kids play. They have cafe and bar right near where children play so you can relax while they have fun. There is a bouncing trampoline and mini golf plus a mini waterpark. Pretty good value for families. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had all family friendly staff. The carpark for the rooms and woolworths across the street are very convenient. We would come again with our family.

20th Feb 2026 Rooms were basic, bedding didn’t fit the bed appropriately. Rooms were dusty on arrival. The grounds are well maintained and kept, impressive. Reception staff were rude to check in with. Filled out all paper work to check in prior to 2pm. We don’t mean to be early and had made our way from the airport, was a long morning. However we filled out the paper work and were told we could get keys at 2pm as rooms were still being cleaned. Which is totally okay! However our room was not in a state I could say cleaned. Tidied perhaps. Fast forward 2pm, went back inside to get keys. Waiting 20 mins by the counter to grab the key as we had already checked in before being told they would not serve me the key and to wait. Another 20 mins went by and we got in our room by 2.50pm. Took 50 mins just to receive the keys NOTHING MORE. Perhaps they’re the only one not wearing a name tag because they are rude a lot. Faculties are great. However no one is enforcing rules. Adults letting my 5 year old into the pool because he’s waiting at the gate for ME to get there cause he ran to wait. Then Not being able to find him for a while, there is no one supervising our kids but us. No lifeguard. Wrist bands for kids given on arrival for kids to wear under 12. No one else appeared to abide. Unsure what my families booking cost as I did not pay/book. So this is a reflection without knowing how much the pricing really is. I would guess this is average accommodation and was not expecting anything but fair treatment.

We recently stayed at Oaks Oasis Caloundra to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing, especially given we paid a large sum for our stay and dining. On arrival, the 1-Bedroom Executive Rooms we booked for three adults only had queen beds. We were initially told we would need to pay extra per night for trundles, despite the room being advertised for three adults. Although the fee was eventually waived, it was not a great way to start our stay. One of our family members was also given a key to an already occupied room, which is a serious privacy and security concern. Throughout the weekend we experienced multiple key card failures, confusion over prepaid breakfast (despite having confirmation), and poor communication regarding simple birthday gathering rules, even though all guests were paying resort guests. For a family resort, we did not find the service welcoming or well organised. There were repeated administrative errors and unnecessary stress during what was meant to be a special celebration. I have emailed management regarding these concerns and have not received a response in over two weeks. I would appreciate someone contacting me directly to discuss this matter.

The location was the best. Convenient to supermarket, bottle'o and surrounding stores. The slides were a big hit with our 3 kids begging to go back every day. The room had everything you could possibly need, the door placements and the slam as soon as you let go was probably the only downfall but other than that, kids had a good time and thats all that mattered.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 We’ve been staying at Oaks Resort Caloundra once or twice a year for 11 years and usually love it. This trip started rough with no aircon across our floor and no Wi-Fi which is a common issue here, plus an unhelpful reception interaction. Thankfully everything was fixed after the first night and the rest of our stay was excellent. The resort is awesome for families, the food was great (highly recommend the surf n’ turf), and the staff across the board — restaurant, breakfast and cleaners — were genuinely outstanding. Solid 4 stars and we’ll keep coming back.
