A lovely hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast buffet and really enjoyed the bar and cocktails :-). Would highliy recommend and for the location too.

Loved the hotel and helpful staff and wonderful breakfast

This hotel is perfectly situated in a vibrant neighborhood surrounded by high-end boutiques and is only a few minutes' walk from St. Mark’s Square. The rooms are small and cozy with a wonderful nostalgic charm. Our room featured a functional layout with closets on each side that of the bed and a clean, private bath. No ironing board or iron both are on the 1st. floor. There is a well-stocked minibar available for an additional fee. One of the highlights was the continental breakfast served in the downstairs restaurant; the staff there are incredibly friendly and attentive included with our stay. It is the perfect way to fuel up before a long day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Hotel Saturnia is a beautiful hotel...centrally located and close to shops, restaurants and major sites.

The Hotel Saturnia was a charming hotel with wonderful amenities. Everyone who glows about the breakfast and staff are 100% correct and the location is ideal for walking everywhere you’ll want to wander to in Venice.

Great price and location! Staff informative and amicable with no fuss. Clean, unique decorum, & busy bar and restaurant. Apple dessert was flavorful and light! Would recommend!

Everything, amazing hotel.

The room was just beauriful. View of the small rio below gave a great experience of life on the water. Hotel staff were very welcoming and so helpful. Bar atmosphere and staff also made for a very pleasant evening.

We felt we were discriminated against based on a family member who is trans. I reached out directly to express my concerns. Their disappointing response is below. I contacted Expedia who said they will look into it but will not provide an update so it feels like they are not taking this seriously. From the Saturnia: "We are talking about something that happened in 2025, that is, almost 10 months ago, am I right? It was a long reflection, I would say. Our hotel does not discriminate in any way. We welcome people of all races, genders, and religions, and discrimination is not part of our culture. Our hotel staff is made up of people of all genders and religions. We have lived in peace with everyone since 1908, when the hotel was opened by my great-grandparents, and we have never received a message like this before. Frankly, it is quite difficult for me to trace back to what happened in April 2025, but in any case, I can say with complete confidence that this can only have been the result of a huge misunderstanding. You must have misinterpreted something. I have no doubt about that. We do not judge our customers in any way; in our eyes, we are all human beings/living beings, and that is the only thing that matters in our hotel always. I don't think I need to add anything else, except to say that you should live with greater serenity, which is what we have always done with all our customers who have been coming from all over the world for more than a hundred years."

The breakfast was the best buffet we’ve had in Italy. The bacon was crispy. :) The bed felt like something we’d have in a Motel 6 - it was not comfortable. (We had the two twin option instead of a double - it’s possible they put a topper on when it’s a double bed.) The jacuzzi was ok - not hot, just warm. Jets were tricky.

This charming hotel felt like visiting friends in Venice. The location is excellent for conveniently exploring the top sights in Venice. Our room and beds were very comfortable and pretty. The hotel's multiple public spaces were lovely and relaxing. The staff was patient and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!
