Lovely Hotel and positioned well for sights, shopping and restaurants.Great staff and services including a good buffet breakfast. There is no restaurant for an evening meal but that's not a problem as there are numerous within a two minute walk. Would we stay there again, definitely.

Front desk staff were excellent, friendly, responsive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with so many options; hot and cold, fresh juices everything you could want. Room was very nice with a charming balcony. We enjoyed the location in the heart of the gothic quarter. So impressed. We will absolutely book this one again.

Great location

Nice hotel with great staff.

It takes about a 13 minute walk from the Plata Catalunya where the airport aerobus drops you off, but the walk is easy and filled with the beauty of the gothic quarter. The hotel is a great location because there are convenience stores, landmarks, delicious restaurants/tapa bars nearby, as well as a metro station. The downside is the hotel was undergoing some construction during our stay so there was open dry wall and tiles at some spots. The noise might also be a factor if you are a light sleeper and go to bed early as it is on a busy street.

You can hear the people walking, talking and yelling on the streets. Rooms are not very clean.

The hotel was lovely. It was close to shops, cafes, the beach, and historic sites. The staff members were helpful and pleasant, accommodating and friendly. The room was large with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We couldn’t check in early but the front desk personnel stored our luggage. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you to the staff and management.

Very walkable, close to metro, markets and the staff was very helpful

Lovely rooms, very clean and excellent bathroom. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Some late night noise from outside but that’s to be expected staying in a central area. Overall a great location to explore Barcelona from.

Excellent location right in the Gothic quarter, perfect to walk around or catch a bus or train. Our room was comfy, clean & quiet & had a balcony, which was a good size & welcomed. Breakfast was superb & all the staff were really helpful. Would stay here again for sure.

Gran Hotel Barcino is very clean. The staffs are very friendly and services are excellent. The hotel offers very easy access to many points of interest. We enjoyed our time there.

This hotel is in a great location right in a heart of the gothic quarter in a walking distance to lots of fun places. It’s clean and friendly. Service was excellent!

The location of Gran Hotel BARCINO in an excellent site in the Gothic area, very close to the underground train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A few minor issues, only one cup for the two of us, and did request another cup which was taken away by housekeeping the next day. Only supplied 2 sachets of coffee for one day and not replenished the next day, we were there for 4 days.

Excellent hotel, great location and friendly staff

This hotel is in perfect location particularly when staying just few days! It’s In old town but can also walk to beach area and other essential sights. Room is great size, house keeping daily and AC quiet . Would definitely stay here again.
