The Alexander was terrific, really a 5star place, amazing service, food, they really make you feel at home.

Everything was top class

The pools were lovely . Walk in to town along the beach was great . Transportation by bus easy just outside the hotel . Would definitely say here again .

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We only had the breakfast included as we were there for a wedding and were offsite often. The pools, outdoor eating and drinking facilities, pool sunbeds and beach access were great. Breakfast was very good. We participated in some of the activities which were fun. Good location to walk to the harbor sites and restaurants/shopping. We took the bus just outside the hotel to go to tombs of kings, very convenient.

The facilities are just lovely and I really appreciated the wonderful customer service offered by the staff. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating and I particularly appreciated all the thoughtful gestures shown to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back again. :)

Great location with a short walk to the harbour area along a coastal promenade. The majority of staff were really nice. A big thank you to Nikki in Guest Relations for a warm welcome and friendly conversations during my stay. The breakfast staff were also great and attentive. The breakfast offering was brilliant and so varied, one of the best I have ever had. Also, many thanks to the team for making my birthday special, much appreciated! I treated myself to a 7 course meal at the Garibaldi restuarant which was delicious. I had to knock one star off as the bathroom was outdated and there was low water pressure. Housekeeping could also be improved. Overall, I had a great stay and would return again.

I spent 3 nights during the Easter holidays and really enjoyed my time. The location is excellent and is one of the closer hotels to the airport while being in the tourist area of the city. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The pools, the gym, the spa, and the restaurants, all were of top quality. They had events happening throughout the day to keep you engaged and entertained. Last but not the least, the staff were the friendliest I have seen in a while. Special mention for the guest relations team (and particularly Marta) for making sure that I am well taken care off.

The staff were very nice throughout the stay. The hotel is old, and the rooms look 30 years old, and not in a very well condition. The food was poor, we ordered the full board, and due to that we ate outside most of the meals. Even the food in the “gourmet” restaurant (which had amazing staff btw) was poor.

Ideal for short stay in a great location

This was a one night extension to a two night stay we'd initially booked. Our experience was so good the first night we added a night AND opted for the half board rate. The hotel itself is very nice, indoor & outdoor pools are great, location is wonderful: quick taxi from the airpot (OR if daytime, just hop the local bus!) GREAT walkway just outside that goes all along the waterfront right into the port area with the archaelogical site & cool cafes, shops. Breakfast was outstanding. Made to order ocffees, Eggs Benedict, omelettes etc were great, huge buffet choices. Dinner was the surprise! Held in a lovely restaurant across from where the breakfast buffet is done, it was buffet style but we were really surprised at how good every single dish we tried was - great value.

Originally booked 2 nights just with breakfast: added a 3rd night half-board for dinner. Everything about this hotel is done right. The staff welcomed us warmly despite a very late night arrival, had us in our room quickly. While our first the room offered a "partial sea view" that wasn't available for our 3rd add-on night, we found both levels of room spacious & comfortable, quiet! Bathroom, closet, decks all were nice. Excellent bed & bedding for a great sleep. Breakfast was outstanding. Made-to-order omelettes & eggs benedict, cappuchini or Americanos every morning, with a great buffet of fruits, juices, baked goods, meats, cheeses, etc. Lovely to sit out on the patio near the pools for breakfast - even in mid-December nice temps. Outstanding staff from check in past midnight to Guest Services to housekeeping to restaurant staff every single person we interacted with was friendly, and helpful. Glad we opted for dinner the third night: it was excellent. Lots of choice, well prepared in a lovely room! Also loved that the walk from the hotel to the Castle and the Archaelogical Park was both easy and beautiful. Finally, having a nicely heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room & gym available in cooler temps was a treat.

The hotel services and facilities were perfect to make my stay comfortable for a really nice change. I will repeat this hotel when I come back to Paphos.

Wonderful hotel with the most friendly, accommodating staff. Good central location. Breakfast was excellent.

Good location overlooking the sea, nice large room although it was on the side of the hotel and overlooked the car park. Supermarket was opposite hotel as was a reasonably priced car rental shop . All the staff i met were friendly and polite and the service at breafast was speedy . I wasn't told about an upgrade though or VIP status .

Was expecting a bit more of evening entertainment as per their website. Otherwise we had a fabulous time.
