Staff was amazing. Enjoyed the fireplace so much. The clawfoot soaker tub was glorious. The hot tub was lovley and big lots of room. Will definitely be booking here agai in the future. Great place in Banff

Surprise upgrade was amazing and convinced me to come back and experience the lodge with my friends and family.

The room was very spacious and clean. Love the fireplace in the sitting area. It’s a fantastic location as it’s very close to town and more of a mountainous feel. The staff were very pleasant and wanting to make sure your stay was what you hoped it would be. Highly recommend!

The room was very clean, big, and spacious. We got a free upgrade, which is really nice. We had a sitting area, a kitchen table, multiple TVs, wood-burning fireplace that was fully functional, full cutlery, and more. It was a great stay, the beds were soft, the sheets were clean, everything was really good. The location was really good as well.

Buffalo Mountain Lodge is an absolute hidden gem nestled in the Rocky Mountains. The staff at the front desk were most pleasant &accommodating to our check in needs. The Prow restaurant has a cozy ambience and serves excellent food for dining and breakfast. The room was upgraded with a roaring wood fireplace, and warm spacious interior with claw tub &shower. All enjoyed after a soothing larger hot tub with powerful jets by the outdoor fire pit just a few min. walk from the room. Thank you again for another lovely quick birthday getaway out of the City.

I had booked Buffalo Mountain Lodge based on the stellar ratings. However, my stay was anything but stellar. Let me start with the MAIN problems: 1. The place lacks basic stuff like a nail cutter. 2. For almost all the requests - the first answer was a big ‘NO’. 3. The place is poorly lit and one has to depend upon the torch in their phone to get around. 4. The food is highly overpriced. The portions are tiny and the taste is average. I would recommend the guests to eat outside. 5. If you are on the ground floor, be prepared to forgo your sleep because the wooden floors are rickety and it becomes noisy when climb. 6. If you order room service, the food will come without a plate. I would rather recommend living at a place that is more welcoming.

Had an amazing stay here. Will be back again. Room was clean and super comfortable. Downtown Banff is really close by, but you dont feel thats the case. Sunshine is 25 minutes away, which was perfect.

I had an amazing time on my stay here. Walking distance to beautiful scenery, not at all far to downtown Banff, and stacked with some great amenities. It was particularly quaint during the winter months, and the heated floors and fireplace gave the stay such a warmth that it was impossible not to be comfortable.

The customer service was amazing! The food in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was always cleaned immaculately. The location was perfect as it wasn't right in the busy area but only a short bus ride away from downtown. Overall a great experience!

Stayed for one night and wished I spent the entire weekend. Our room was fantastic, the restaurant (The Prow Food & Drink) served delicious food and drinks and the customer service provided was top notch👌
