Everything was just fine

What stands out most was how helpful the staff were! On check-in, Mia gave us recommendations for trails and restaurants, all of which turned out to be spot-on. When we ordered bottled water, a staff member brought it straight to the room within minutes. Likewise, when we needed help lighting the fireplace in our room, a staff member came almost immediately. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful.

It was very nice and clean. We were very thankful with our cleaner for keeping our room super tidy! The place was great! Our room was pretty spacious with a balcony. Nice location. Close driving proximity to Banff Ave. I just think the front desk staff who checked us in needs to be a little friendlier when welcoming people. However, thumbs up to the management checking in on us, sending us text messages if we need anything during our stay. Overall, we had a great time staying here!

We had a great stay! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the studio was spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We used the restaurant on site twice and the food and service on both occasions were exceptional. The lodge is a little out of the downtown area, but there is an excellent and regular bus service right outside which takes you downtown in no time and fares are covered by the lodge. It’s a really peaceful location with nice walking trails.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the restaurant, the fireplace was a nice touch. It’s a but away from the town centre, which was perfect for relaxation

This is a great place to stay located in Banff! It was convenient to use the Roam bus to get into center of town and the complimentary bus passes were nice. The room was very clean and nice. We loved the sitting area with fireplace, balcony, and large bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff was so welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the suite king room. The Prow had a lovely Bison steak for dinner. I even saw large deer walking across the yard in front of my window. Great property with a mountain feel and still easy access to downtown.

Nice clean room with helpful staff. Breakfasts were delicious!

The hotel stay was okay overall, but make sure to double-check your booking and final bill. I prepaid for my room, confirmed that everything was correct with the front desk, and was still charged a second time. While the duplicate charge was eventually addressed, it created an unnecessary hassle. I recommend reviewing your charges carefully before and after your stay.

Buffalo Mountain Lodge is WONDERFUL! If I returned to Banff, I would definitely there again! Their restaurant, the Prow, is superb. The walk (downhill) into town is about 15-20 minutes but you can take the bus which is right across the street (the hôtel gives you bus vouchers).

Cute and spacious rooms, hot tub is nice, and they give you a free bus card for getting to and from town which is nice. The fireplace in the room didn’t work - no matter what we did the with flue, it started to fill the room with smoke. Seemed like the chimney may not have been clean. Parking was also challenging. Not enough spots and we had to park by the front and walk our bags to our room. And no EV charging options.

The O’connor house was gorgeous and very well stocked. The only thing to improve this would be to have specified parking. We had to park on the street.

The MOST AMAZING ROOM! A last minute choice that did not dissapoint! The staff was so friendly, the bathroom was gorgeous with a tub that you can soak in after a long day hiking and sightseeing. The bed waa cozy, with a luxurious duvet and feather pillows that felt like a cloud. Our cabin was perfection! We had a large balcony, which we utilized all night as we stargazed and enjoyed wine under the beautiful night sky. We will be back for sure, this property is a dream and Banff is truly a remarkable place to visit .

Beautiful modern furnished room. This may seem unusual, but if you have been traveling long you will appreciate this…2 ply toilet paper. (Rare in hotels) Good location for seeing Banff.

The room is very spacious with a kitchen and a small living room area. The room amenity is very basic. The bathroom is very basc and doesn't have a cupboard or organizer space to put personal vanity stuff. The floor seems a bit dusty and slippers are not provided. We are also disappointed that there's no laundry room on site. The staff said we have to go downtown for laundry which is more than 1km away.

Beds were sooooo comfortable! Nice & clean room with great view from the balcony Fridge was a great addition. Staff helpful and friendly. Good location, Banff town is lovely. Loved the free shuttle bus into town, although the return journey at around 2135 was always mega busy and one night we be had to walk back, which wasn’t the worst thing because we saw a deer and her fawn.

The location was great and the staff was excellent. We used the shuttle bus daily, thank you Buffalo Mountain Lodge that provided us with the shuttle passes. The restaurant and bar was our nightly retreat especially after our long days of hiking. We will definitely be back.
