Love staying here, staff always so helpful. Can charge my vehicle, and ample parking spaces. Breakfast always hot and lots to choose from. Room was perfect, and the beds are so comfortable. Always difficult to leave!

The hotel staff are exceptional, they make you feel welcome. I had a lovely chat with a cleaner as she helped me navigate the corridors to my room, she really went above and beyond. All the staff seemed happy to be working at the hotel. The upgraded room was very spacious and had stunning views from the window.

This wasn’t our first stay at this hotel and this time we prepared for the busy restaurant by booking a table for dinner in advance. The restaurant is always busy. However, this precaution did not help as the standard of service was chaotic. The food we did have was good. But we would not have tried again on our second night. Disappointing. We also noticed that the public areas had been refurbished but this didn’t extend to the bedrooms.

We stayed in order to attend an anniversary celebration. Our room was very well presented and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. Overall the hotel is a welcoming, pleasant place to stay. The party we attended was well organised and the food and drink was excellent. We used the swimming pool facility which was very well presented - clean and warm facilities and pool.

Friendly staff. Great dinners and decent breakfast. I had an excellent spa treatment but the spa facilities are in need of an upgrade.

Not a bad hotel, but as usual let down by the slamming bedroom door problem! Strong self-closers on doors make them slam when people are coming in and out of their rooms late at night and early in the morning Why don't hotels recognise this problem and do something about it??!!

Room was very clean and bed was comfy! Staff were lovely, just a bit slow for food to come out in the restaurant but might be because it was a busy Saturday evening.

The room looked lovely but unfortunately the heating wasn’t working. Did call up the receptionist she said she was going to put the heating up waited another hour and it was still cold by then. It was too late. The kids were retired so we had to sleep in the cold next morning, I did report it in. However, if I seen that the lady on the receptionist she did offer another room for us to go in but I said unfortunately we’ve already settled in and unpacked and it’s going to be too much for the kids moving from one room to another she did offer complementary drinks and a late checkout but again we left early on the day of leaving. Perhaps before customers check in rooms should be checked if all is in order. Breakfast menu wasn’t clear the member of staff didn’t explain it properly and for someone who doesn’t understand what is included in the price misread swimming again I understand all the times and everything was already put on the information but sometimes living a busy lifestyle you don’t remember the fine prince did ask a member of staff she didn’t explain it properly so unfortunately we missed a day of swimming because we had other plans throughout the day so couldn’t make it.
