A run down hotel with a lot needed to bring ip its standard. My tour across Spain and France has seen many fantastic laces to stay for less money. Even the free internet was broken in a town where O2 coverage was poor. Sadly i couldnt wait to leave. The photos give the wrong impression

The room we were given was nothing like the one shown in the photo; it was very poor, and the view was of the fire escape, and a neighbour's back yard. There is no parking at the hotel, but a free car park about 200 metres away.

Close to town centre. Spacious room. Decor tired looking. Shower spread water a lot but there was a squeegee provided. For the price it served us very well.

Just a one night stop over en route to Spain, and we did the same on return. Great location, nice people, decent breakfast and Saintes is lovely.

The hotel does the job if your just looking for somewhere to rest your head at night. Our room was a bit small but it was clean a comfortable.

Delightful comfortable room with a glassed-in balcony. Despite being on a busy roundabout there was very little traffic noise. The only room of our whole holiday to have tea- and coffee-making facilities. Very friendly helpful proprietor. Good facilities, very clean - and there's a lift.

Very friendly owners, clean and comfortable room and excellent breakfast. In a convenient part of the town and close enough to get on and off to the motorway, but very quiet in the hotel.
