Beautiful property, gorgeous beach (plenty of chairs and umbrellas for everyone at any time) food was great and the desserts were incredible. Barely saw any cleaning crews yet everywhere was spotless. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Truly a wonderful place to stay.

A stunning oceanside setting with warm, crystal clear water. It was an incredibly peaceful and relaxing place. The property was beautiful and well-maintained and the staff was engaged and helpful.

Amazing beaches and water, lovely staff and incredible food (half-board highly recommended). Excellent and different a la carte choices offered every night. 2 bugbears which prevented me giving 5 stars- 1) It is usual for a top hotel to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water each night. SM does have the water in the minibar, but they charge for it, which is a little annoying. 2) They have a private, lovely beach. However they charge 50 euros per day for the use of their beach sunloungers, which we were unaware of beforehand. For a hotel of this type, we would not expect to pay for this (and certainly not so much). However, overall, we had a fantastic stay - loved being able to rent e-bikes so we could explore the area.

The water laps onto the sand beach right at the hotel’s gorgeous outdoor dining and sitting areas. Very nice people at the front desk. Art everywhere inside.

Had a lovely week long stay at hotel Stella Maris . The food is of good quality , especially the choice of pastries at breakfast and desserts at dinner. Gréât location for thé beach . A bit of a long walk into town when it’s hot but taxi was only 15 euros . Lovely staff . Would thoroughly recommend .

Excellent hotel located next to a lovely beach. We booked half board with a very varied menu to choose from and given the hotel’s location we would recommend booking this option. You would need a car to dine elsewhere. Really relaxing holiday, enhanced by the friendly and professional staff, hopefully we will return in the future.

Great location. Great staff. Very nice setting and facilities. The room is not great but average. I am not sure I would have loved if it was for a much longer stay, but I may have not paid for a special room. Maybe it was a basic room Inpaid for a received. In any case a very lovely place.

A little gem. If you don't mind a full hour taxi transfer from the airport, a wonderful quiet place awaits you with a beach as good as any Caribbean beach. You either need to get walking or have a car, as the small town is a good 25 minute walk away. This was a perfect getaway this year and just what was needed after lockdown. Food delicious, staff very friendly and hotel wi fi excellent. Rooms very comfortable and contemporary Italian (as many Italian resorts can be old fashioned).

Amazing location with fantastic sea view. Beach, white sand, was just a few steps from the fabulous garden.

Great boutique hotel. Quiet. Excellent staff. Good English. Good restaurant. Get the half board option or you pay a lot more. Terrific find.

Our fourth stay in this fabulous hotel. Extremely comfortable accommodation, beautiful gardens leading on to a lovely beach. Service is outstanding, friendly without being pretentious. Food is very good & varied with plenty of choice. Lovely countryside with many beautiful bays. The local town, Villasimius, approx. 3 kms away, is a lovely unspoiled holiday town with very friendly locals. Highly recommended.

Loved this resort! Room was lovely, grounds were beautiful & staff was so nice. If only we could have turned down the wind, it would have been perfect.

We stayed here recently. I am a single Mother of two teenage children. I found the waiting Staff in the bar & dining area unfriendly - maybe this was because I am a single parent - but it made me feel uncomfortable. This is not a great hotel for non Italian speaking guests - better suited to Europeans other than English. Amazing food however, and a beautiful tranquil & safe beach. Not much local info was available for English guests - I had to my research of what was available Locally via the internet. Soft drinks in bar extremely pricey at €7 for a small glass of lemonade.

A lovely stay... room, food, service and grounds all excellent. Be aware, it can be quite windy here, which is great for wind and kite surfers. Also walk across the peninsula to the beaches by the lagoon which are even more stunning!!
