Our family really enjoyed this property. The pool area was great There's plenty of room and the staff was amazing. Another plus is that you can walk to town. The only thing I didn't like is when we first arrived they pulled us aside and we're trying to sell us some kind of a package. Just let them politely no that you're not interested and they will leave you alone. We had a garden view that had a small patio area. My other family members were up higher. I liked my room better because I get up early and it gave me an area to drink coffee and enjoy the weather without disrupting other people in the room. There is a Starbucks on site and a bakery coffee shop and grocery store within a five minute walk. The next time we go back to Puerto Vallarta we will be staying here again

The room that we had stayed in had multiple issues; the refrigerator door was broken, the shower handle faucet was broken, alongside the fact that we had construction that begun at 2 am right outside our hotel room. When we brought these issues up to the staff during check out, he seemed surprised and unphased by our unpleasant experience during the second night.

This hotel was way better than what we were expecting. Don't know what the reviews were about the food being bad. We like good food and overall it was great. Only one night that wasn't amazing (we thought) was the Fiesta Night's food but generally it was great. First room had a loud noise from HVAC above and they moved us no problem to a higher room which didn't have a balcony but it was a great room and we saw whales most mornings! So cool. The only downside to this hotel, like others have mentioned is the timeshare people. It's really hard to know that that's what they are as they look like normal staff there that appear to want to help you. They are very pushy and I don't know why the hotel has allowed this sort of service without being transparent about what they are selling. The rest of the staff were lovely, very high standard of service but the timeshare pushiness puts a sour taste in your mouth, they wasted a lot of our time talking our ears off on multiple occasions and we're too polite but eventually I told them they're wasting our time and we don't have a long stay there. Anyway, I would go back here for sure especially now I know who the timeshare people are so I can avoid them.

Nice rooms clean

This is really a hotel, not a resort. Food was 3/5. My wife is a vegetarian and had a VERY difficult time finding anything with protein (ended up buying protein bars despite having the all inclusive package). Location is close to town but not really walkable. The timeshare people were very annoying. Pool was nice but too warm. Gym is very nice.

We have stayed at the Sheraton Buganvilia many times over the last 25 years, andthis time our timing was just right. The day we arrived we were greeted with an awesome showing of whales, and then blessed to see them each day we were there.

Exceeded our expectations! Will definitely recommend to friends & family!

Excellent staff at the Sheraton especially Juan and Erica in the breakfast service , you couldn't find any more better service in any location. One complaint I have is the availability of ATM's at the Hotel , the type of ATM would not let me access my Canadian Accounts and we had to make 30 minute trips to the closest ATM. Its an International Hotel and this Banks ATM is unacceptable.

As advertised. Good property, well kept. Food options at time limited at restaurant. Pool and beach access was great. Clean rooms, nice shower in the room.

Our third stay at this hotel. A fabulous spot and the staff and service are terrific. We are from Canada and will definitely return next year.

The property was clean, well maintained and the staff were incredible. So polite, very welcoming and by the end of the week got to know you by name. The pools were clean, lots of activities and again great recreation staff. The food was high quality, as always recommend eating the local dishes, the traditional breakfast so so good, fresh masa quesadillas were to die for.

The best thing was the spa. They had a water relaxation for I believe 690 pesos or around $30-$35. You got to go to the Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, relaxation pool, hydrotherapy, and cold plunge. You could spend as long as you wanted. I didn’t have any luck with the food. The pizza was terrible. It didn’t matter which restaurant on the property it was the same and it was terrible. I don’t think I’m gonna eat another chicken quesadilla for six months. The staff was nice, but the unfortunate thing is right when you check in someone comes to greet you to tell you about the restaurants, but they’re actually trying to get you to sign up for a timeshare conference. They’ll try to get $20 from you to sign up and you kind of caught off guard. They’ll hound you the whole time you’re there if you don’t do it. They do have pesos at the front desk but they run out and then they don’t get more pesos till around 11 or 12 in the afternoon. Overall, it was a decent place but I would prefer to stay closer to Marina Vallarta next time I go.
