Service is always great! The rooms are lovely and its the best location ever. We have stayed there 4 times and plan to return

Staff is very friendly and helpful!! Breakfast is excellent. Our only issue was with the bar. Four of us stopped in for drinks before dinner on our first night. For years bar tenders have been trying to outdo each other with complicated drinks. Some work. Some don't. Most at the Marc didn't. One used pineapple in the first part of the description. None of us could taste any. We did not go back to the bar.

Great stay! Gorgeous hotel

Redone rooms are very nice - large walk in shower and comfortable bed. Hotel is very clean. Great location. You see a bit of wear and tear in the hallways and shared spaces.

Getting dated.

The interior is simply stunning. And we loved the restaurant and the attached wine tasting rooms. Plus, almost everything worth seeing in the downtown area is easily in walking distance. The hotel has plenty of parking. 10/10--will stay here again!

This hotel has so much history, charm and character, but at the same time is very comfortable. We loved visiting Walla Walla and this is where we’ll stay when we’re in the area.

I have stayed at the Marcus Whitman a few times but it's been a while. I was very pleased to see that it is as good or even better than I experienced before. As an Expedia VIP, I received a free bottle of wine! As a guest, I received a credit to the in-house dining facilities and that makes all the difference. When I visit Walla Walla again, I will definitely choose the MW as my first option.

I had high hopes for the Marcus Whitman Hotel given its reputation and historic charm, but unfortunately, my stay left much to be desired. While the property boasts a grand lobby and a central location in Walla Walla and this was accurate, the actual accommodations were underwhelming. The room felt dated and lacked the freshness and attention to detail you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. The biggest issues, however, were cleanliness and air quality. There were a few ants in the room and no cleaning service on Saturday’s. Even worse, there was a lingering smoke smell that permeated the space and clung to my clothes, despite being in a non-smoking room. It was off-putting and gave the impression that the room hadn’t been properly aired out or deep cleaned in some time. Overall, while the historic allure of the hotel is still there, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.

Our trip was amazing. We will definitely stay here again!

Rooms in the connected building (not the old hotel) are small and not very well kept up. Shower stall was really dirty. Exterior doors don’t lock or require a key card, so some questionable security.

Have stayed at Marcus Whitman many times and continue to go back. Great atmosphere, excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff. The rooms in the tower are very spacious, comfortable & quiet. Really like this hotel...
