Very good

Upon entering the Hampton Inn in Newberry SC, these was a strong musky odor. When I arrived at the hotel 5 minutes before check-in, I was told by the customer service representative that my room was not ready yet. When I checked into my room, the musky odor was even worse. I would not recommend this hotel until it gets better ventilation.

Great hospitality here and clean rooms. So friendly and accommodating! It’s a great price for any room!

Stayed at this property twice now. Everything is very clean and the staff are attentive. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you’re in Newberry, South Carolina.

Central location in town, very clean, and nice breakfast. We also enjoyed the pool area.

Desk Clerk is not friendly. Our first room smelled like dog, when we went downstairs to complain she said, ""we don't allow dogs." We later saw a sign saying pets permitted. Those rooms should be segregated. Many have allergies. Smoking seemed also to be prevalent here. There were several people smoking and vaping right at the lobby doors where I had to hold my breath. I asked the desk clerk what foods were served at breakfast. She said, "breakfast food."

Old property and it seems to be well maintained.

Katie, at check in, was great. Asked for a restaurant recommendation, and it was fantastic. She was very pleasant to deal with.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was nice but more time could’ve been spent on cleaning the bathroom prior to our arrival.

I was surprised by the room it was very comfortable and I would stay there again.

We were only there for a wedding nearby in Prosperity. We didn't have time to shop or walk around, so we have no input for those areas.

Could use some updating. But everything is clean, everyone is friendly. Appears to be a safe area. Can’t ask for much more.
