First class as always, this is our fourth visit and we are already planning our next one. From a seamless check in with an amazingly warm welcome from Nicola and Cheryl who remembered us from previous visits. The room was excellent and the housekeeping team did a fabulous job throughout our stay, nothing is too much trouble. We are in the Pin bar and once again the food was lovely and all people we came across were helpful and polite. We had a visit to the Spa, where the beautiful Lilly welcomed us back and as usual went above and beyond to accommodate my health challenges. After a challenging few months with my health, the spa visit was very much needed, I can't begin to say what a huge difference it made to us both. Every staff member is outstanding. We ended our visit yesterday evening at our favourite restaurant, The Fusion. The welcome once again was wonderful, the chef and his team created absolute perfection with the food, we never feel rushed and no matter how busy people are, they always have a kind word and mannerism that sets the bar high for other hotels we visit. Having mobility/health needs can often cause me to feel uneasy, however at Ramside, this has never been the case. Everyone is kind, considerate and if helps required, I'm not made to feel a burden, in fact the opposite. I would recommend staying here without hesitation. We love it here, if I could give it 6 stars I would. Many thanks to everyone for making our stays so special xx

Our stay was amazing, the hotel looked lovely as we drove in. The staff couldn’t be anymore helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely meal in the rib house, the service and food were excellent. The spa treatment was much needed and enjoyable. Could not speak anymore highly of Ramside Hall

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly Our room was very nice and clean. The shower over the bath could do with upgrading The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there was plenty of staff to accommodate the demand. I would definitely recommend and stay again

Stayed three years ago still same decor tired looking and I had everything I requested twin beds shower room but the beds were so low I struggled to get in or out them as I’m slightly disabled . All the staff are wonderful it’s clean but please spend money on replacing tired rooms didn’t like single duvet in double cover kept sliding off bed .

Staff were amazing, rooms a bit dated but could not fault the amazing food we ate on site! Great breakfast and fab meals in Fusion and The Rib Room! Highly recommend an evening in The Pin, book ahead for the games.

Bit tired to be honest, grubby dust everywhere in the rooms and bathroom stains Breakfast average for the price, coffee awful, toast not toasted For the price really not worth it in my opinion, Rub Room restaurant was the highlight food was great decor was tired, staff at the restaurant were great

Room clean staff good breakfast not to good never used spa but did do bowling so it was good to do something on the night time we stay 2 3 time a year and it’s still got our vote

We booked a treehouse for an overnight stay on 16 April 2026. prior to my daughter's wedding on 17th. We were allocated the Cuckoo lodge and sizewise it was perfect. My daughter and future husband and my two grandchildren took the studio side which had its own entrance and hot-tub but they also had access to the main unit where the remainder of the family were housed. This included a massive bathroom with double walk-in shower. It had its own access to separate terrace including the hot-tub. The main unit had a large ground floor living accommodation with a large outdoor terrace housing another hot-tub. Ground floor also led onto a very large bedroom suite with a walk-in shower and a separate large copper bathtub. It also had a large sofa bed. This bedroom housed my elder daughter and her four children more than comfortably. The wife and I shared the mezzanine bedroom overlooking the main living quarters. A blackout blind helped keep the room dark. We made use of 'The Pin' bar and restaurant along with the spa complex which is in the main hotel area. A golf-buggy ensured people got to these additions without any bother. The treehouse was a perfect start to a perfect day. It was clean, staff were attentive to the family needs and I would recommend it to anyone.

We did not go to breakfast as we slept too late and missed it. Gutted about that., but the lovely room cleaning staff gave us tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. We were delighted with them.

The room we were staying, the decor was tired - not worthy of a 4 star hotel unfortunately. Upon arrival, wardrobe door was hanging off hinges, the wifi receiver box was hanging of the wall - room was also very dark. Pointed out wardrobe door to concierge and they had it fixed the next day, but should have been done before guest arrival - tables in hallway tired and peeling off. The staff was friendly though, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast had a good choice.

Comfortable spacious room. Friendly staff. Big comfortable hotel.

Breakfast was good. Rooms are poor quality, very old. Things broken in the rooms and nothing staff can do about it but say sorry. The spa is good but restricted to just one hour and also restricted to just the pool, can’t use the nice spa pool without paying another £70 per person per day so be aware of that. The hotel location is good, walkable to the park and ride and each to get into the centre etc.
