Studio suite(2 adults, 3yr old & 10 month old) Parking free Room:Great amount of space. Baby was crawling round and toddler enjoyed the spinning chair. Tv has freeview, amazon, netflix and is easily moved from bedroom to "lounge". There is a kettle with coffee, tea, milk, sugar & sweeteners. We took a plug in coolbox and did breakfast & dinner in the room with a portable chair for baby. Dated decor but clean, shower could have done with scrubbing into the nooks and some paint peeling above from steam damage. Barely heard the road with windows shut.Had hairdryer Staff: Receptionist very helpful every time we spoke to them. 1 pool staff member was young and not at all bothered about customer service but the other pool staff member was very helpful and told us we needed to book a pool slot in the future. Pool: could do with some in depth cleaning/upgrades - it was a major reason why i booked. Fairly small pool and people swimming lengths made it hard to use as a leisure pool with kids. There is ADULT only slots. Bridge needs taking out, it creates more of a hazard and with the wood rotting there is no reason for it to be there?! Changing facilities good but could use some anti slip flooring and also a sign for the baby change room-had no idea it was there as it looked like a store cupboard. Lockers with keys you do not have to pay for. Steam &jacuzzi good. Didnt use sauna. Good family base but if you want modern gleaming rooms, pay more elsewhere.Not a couple spa retreat imo

Excellent property including breakfast

Booked the suite with my partner for three nights, turned out we had booked gran’s house, very dated, no tv in bedroom even though it’s shown in the pictures. When opening the window the plastic window surround fell off and there was no curtains on the window so people on the car park get full view. The lights flicker in the bathroom so if your epileptic you might want to swerve the bathroom. Stafff are slow, don’t expect to get a beer before 5pm as you will be waiting until 5, reception is no better. Then there is the cleanliness, house keeping washed the dirty mugs from our room in the bathroom sink then put them back out to use again. yes where the toilet is, last time I’ll ever come here, disgusting, bad house keeping, slow staff, if you can find one! Few staff around when the fire alarm went off but nobody telling us where to go or what was happening.

The rooms are very dated, and it was disappointing that the gym was not open at the time stated.

Room was dirty, holes in wall, shower tray blocked and unusable, punch mark in bathroom door. Mattress had fold in middle so was unsleepable in. Booked 2 nights stayed one - went to local Premier Inn, cheaper and vastly better. Avoid.

Staff at the hotel were really amazing, upgraded my room for free. The pool facilities were really nice, the gym needs a little uplifting a bit dated. Breakfast was really nice, plenty of parking available.

Did not like anything except parking was available and hot water was abundant. No A/C dirty. no vent in the bathroom. room was not ready on time. staff working the breakfast issued dirty utensils and plates. Did not clean tables adequately nor timely. Reused utensils from previous customers. Overall F grade.

The rooms are dated and could do with a refresh. pillows were stained. Ask for an iron to be told they are just dotted around random rooms and they dont know where they are so couldnt get me one. Breakfast staff were busy talking had to ask for the milk to be topped up and likewise the juice. I would say the staff werent customer focused.

Hotel definitely need some investment such a good location but very hot rooms no air flow….staff in hotel is amazing hope the owners looking after you all because you have been kind and.resolved concerns on the day

Hallway and Room is very smelly In just in entry of hotel there is plenty of rubbish everywhere Restaurants is awful . The blanket are smelling too There is no enough staff in reception area have to wait for long time

The facilities were good, staff friendly and welcoming. Didnt use the Spa or pool but looked through the window and it appeared very nice. Cooked breakfast was good, fresh fruit was a bit limited but there was plenty of cereal, pastries and bread.

We had a 1 hr wait for our room to be ready .spacious and clean but tatty and needing redecorating .wallpaper hanging off the walls shabby furniture. Towels and bedding good. below average standard. Bank Holiday weekend booked fora spa weekend and the salon was shut the entire time of our stay. Disappointing. I could not recommend this hotel The staff were brilliant and the best thing about this hotel

Bring an extension cable. There are no sockets on either side of the bed

The furniture in the room was old fashioned and knocked around. The bed was a double and to small for two people. It was also ultra soft and rolled to the middle. Shower was good and powerfull, only had to climb over the bath. Toilet roll cheap. Ok for a cheap night with no luxuries but nothing flashy. Stayed 2 nights and both evenings had to got back to reception for the key card to be reactivated and receptionist had dissapeared. Didn't use any of the other facilities.

Place was nice enough but spoilt by unruly children whose parents felt that getting them to chase sfter a ball and climbing all over the furniture in the restaurant was ok. Staff stood by and ignored this.

Waited 45 minutes for food then to be told they gave me an old menu and no longer had what I ordered Bedroom wall was paper thin,could hear everything next door

The room was clean apart from some mould in the corner of the bath which was a bit unsightly, also the furniture was quite tatty and in need of replacing or even just given a coat or two of paint. Considering the price I paid and the fact that I was only there for 1 night it wasn't an issue but thought it was very strange that the wardrobe had 2 security boxes but no hanging rail or hangers!!

Clean, ok breakfast, fairly dated but comfy.
