The room is clean, morning staff can speak English and allow me to check in early, evening staff lacks English and communication when I had a problem with the AC. The AC was fixed after 30 minutes of trying to explain the problem. The hotel was loud because it is a famous party and wedding venue, even when you were far from the ballroom. Loud music can keep you awake at night. Very isolated and nothing within walking distance.

Ac was not working in our room. Although we asked many times, they didnt fix and they didnt change our room.it waa too hot and we coulnt sleep I dont recommend using pool area with kids as stuff doesnt care whats happening. A few couples was literally acting very inappropriately in the pool and in front of the kids. there was no warning at all..they should have said adult only pool area....

A bit of an old hotel . Room AC was not working and window had an issue that you couldn’t close and not to forget the actual heat in the country

Had to change 2 rooms before settle in the 3rd one during our 2 nights stay. We've booked a deluxe room which was an upgrade from the standard ones on the "renovated" part of the hotel. We walked in to our first room and immediately run out because of the terrible septic smell! Without properly apologizing, front desk moved us to our second room. The room was outdated, the bed was so awful it would be better if we slept on the floor. The plumbing in the shower and bathroom sink weren't working at all, even during a very quick shower walk-in shower flooded. We had to complain once again after our first night in agony and they moved us to our third room on our second night. The accommodations weren't improved at all but at that point we just wanted pushed through the night and leave immediately in the morning. Will never stay there again!

The room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke, despite opting for a non-smoking room. I changed and in the new room I had no electricity in the morning as the bathroom light blew it. Not a good experience for a 3 night stay.

A very traditional hotel with excellent staff. But unfortunately the bathroom was not up to par. The hotel shower would not drain water properly.

Considering it’s a business venue it is considerably unloved and in need of repair, carpets torn and uneven, lighting not replaced , closed facilities

The biggest problem with this hotel is that you cannot control the temperature of your own room. All AC systems are connected to one system. The rooms were way too hot, 26 Celsius through the night. They kept “trying to fix it”. Finally, someone admitted that the hotel was going to be remodeled in the next year. They should not be charging the rates they are charging when the hotel is tired, and in need of remodeling and being in the modern age. If you don’t need to be at the university, I would not recommend for you to stay here.

Bilkent Hotel is in an amazing location, serene, quiet and calming. The staff is fantastic, every single person we interacted with was very kind and polite. We will definitely go back and visit again soon. We loved our stay here. Thank you.

The room was dirty. Hair in the bath room, sheets not fresh.

This was a family trip and we entered with excitement but left very disappointed. We found the staff to be very transactional and tired, however the maintenance staff was friendly and helpful when our TV did not work. The internet was absolutely horrible. I called the front desk and they admitted it was a problem throughout the facility except for some hot spots. This was frustrating for a conference center hotel - basic webpages would load slowly. We did enjoy the outdoor poor which was very nice and well kept but closed at 4:30 in the afternoon. The breakfast was pretty standard but enjoyable - nice selection. Beds were nice and comfortable - rooms had plenty of dust in areas around the TV, windows, telephone etc.

This was maybe my fourth stay at this hotel. Bilkent has always been a place for distinguished people and Bilkent Hotel is no different. The staff is friendly, premises are clean and neat. Only this time I had a neighbor talking with loud noises until after midnight from the next room. But I won't blame the hotel for this obviously.

Hotel and restaurant on the first floor are decent, hotel is alright, a bit remote and quiet as well. One unfortunate thing though, their WiFi is abysmal, so don't expect to stream or work when staying there. In the end just got a SIM with 4G data, because it was quite annoying.
