We recently enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at the Home Hotel Folketeateret, and it was exceptional from start to finish. We were lucky enough to book a Premium Room, which was beautifully spacious, clean, and provided a fantastic, relaxing base after exploring the city. The hotel’s central location is perfect for accessing all of Oslo's main attractions, making transport incredibly easy. The Food is a Game-Changer While the comfort of the rooms was great, the food truly sets this hotel apart: Included Evening Meal: The complimentary light evening meal they offer is a brilliant touch. It was delicious, varied, and a wonderful perk that provided great value after a long day of sightseeing. Buffet Breakfast: This was simply out of this world! The quality and scope of the buffet were far beyond standard hotel fare. From traditional Norwegian specialities to a vast array of fresh, high-quality options, we honestly went back again and again. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. We especially liked the pool and pool area on the roof with great views. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

The proximity to the Brygga and many excellent restaraunts makes this an ideal location no matter what your reason for visiting Tønsberg.

Fantastic staff at the desk and all around including the dining room. A very comfortable stay. It was a bit noisy Saturday night, but the disco stopped very early and did not disturb.

It was OK and reasonably comfortable for one overnight stay. The room was very cold, without apparent thermostat adjustment. The bathroom floor was very cold and my room was in an annex, not as in the advertised photo. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Staff were very professional and extremely polite.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was under construction at the time but everything was very clean and quiet. The location could not be better being at the harbor - 1 minute walk to Foynhagen, great restaurants, and quick 15-minute walk either to Slottsfjellet or the train station. We will happily return.

Really disappointed with the hotel. There was a lot of building work. The reception floor was being laid the bar was completely shut and not available. There was also a new outside area being built right outside my window which was noisy. I was not made aware of any of this when booking. The hotel was very expensive for the quality being offered.

Great town to visit! The hotel is a great location to all the local sites. Many restaurants in the area, right next to the Harbour.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The only reason I have dropped a star is that the room (superior, room 246) could have done with a new carpet (horrible stain on it) and more space for storing your clothes or a suitcase stand at least. Communal areas are beautifully kept and the roof top swimming pool and bar are a wonderful feature.

Hyggelig og hjelpsomme i resepsjonen. God frokost, men savnet en godbit etter frokost. Greit treningsstudio. Fint basseng, men litt rart at dem tar betalt for håndklær så det bør en ta med fra rommet og det går heller ikke an å sette drink på rommet, så ta med visa kort. Rommet var helt greit, rent og fin utsikt. Derimot gangene var veldig møkkete dessverre noe det går fint an å forbedre ved å støvsuge.

Innsjekking gikk greit. Men måtte ha med eget smør til maten da dette hotellet bruker kun margarin, For mye klimamas og idiotiske prioriteringer på dette hotellet. Men personalet er hyggelige og oppholodet var fint.
