The room was fine. The problem was they were renovating the first floor. I had to walk in 100 degree heat outside to another door to take the elevator. This morning at 4:00 the fire alarm malfunctioned, the elevator wasn’t working and I had to walk from the 4th floor with my suitcase to the lobby. I would not have booked this hotel if I knew the property was in renovation.

Staff was very nice. After that, the hotel was horrible. We were there for commencement, which is planed nearly a year in advance. The hotel chose to do construction during one of their busiest times of the year. Furthermore, there was no mention of the construction on the site. The lobby was full of construction supplies, the bathrooms on ground floor were closed, which was not helpful after a very long car ride to arrive. Our room didn't have a curtain-it was literally a piece of fabric stapled to the window. I had to use a hair tie to open them so we could have light in the room. They also let in light all night long, so sleep was impossible. The beds had unprotected metal arms sticking out from the bedframe, which bruised my daughter. The stairwells were not climatized and were filthy. The kitchen area was like a closet that everyone had to pile in for breakfast-we had to eat elsewhere. I rarely write a bad review, but this was truly the worst experience that we have ever had in a hotel, at a premium price that I paid for a 5-star hotel. I would not everrecommend staying at this hotel, and feel like my money should be reimbursed.

Nice hotel that was clean, despite the construction. The breakfast was ok, but there was no juice or water available. When I asked the attendant she rudely told me she was out, not offering an alternative. I went to the front desk and the attendant was more than nice to offer bottled water and offered us more afterwards.

Some areas of the hotel were still under renovation. One of our rooms had a sheet tacked to the window instead of blinds. Common areas poorly lit and in need of some additional cleaning attention. Parking lot filled with construction materials. Had to park across the highway at a church. Just would’ve been nice to be aware that the renovations weren’t complete.

We were unaware that the Hotel was under construction, which I understand, and I understand using all your rooms to offset remodel costs. What I do not understand is how they expect their guests to park with all of the construction equipment, metal storage containers, and pallets of materials taking up most of the parking spaces. The first night we were there we were fine as far as parking goes, but were informed to keep our spot as long as possible because they were having people park across the 4 lane highway at the church, and guests were having to walk across the highway. Our second night we arrived back at the hotel to find no spots available and cars blocking other cars and parking wherever there was “space”. We went in to talk to the front desk and they advised that we would have to find somewhere on property to park, and that they did not have any overflow parking. When we brought up the church we were advised to park at, they said we would be towed from there or the RV lot next door. They advise us to call these other places because they were not responsible. It’s also worth mentioning the room itself was clean, but the bathroom was disgusting, the shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned, the tub spout was leaking, and there was a mysterious red goop that was stuck to the floor.

The hotel was clean and in the process of being updated, but the drapes in are room were hung with dry wall screws so it made the operation of using them impossible to let light in. All in all staff was friendly and check in/out was seem less and made me feel my business was appreciated.

Most of the property was under major construction and definitely needed it. Container and garbage right outside my window and noisy. Rooms are dated and no place for breakfast, it was grab and go. Wish I had known before booking.

Good place. Going through renovations as they are addressing the dated rooms. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Breakfast was on par with most that offer full breakfast but they did a great job of keeping it full. I am certain that when the renovations are done if will be great!

They are upgrading the rooms. I am on the 4th floor which has been upgraded and the room is very nice compared to the last time I stayed here.

Even though the hotel is rehabilitating the property, the staff is responsive, friendly, and well-trained. Oh, and breakfast is good as well.

When we checked in, the lady was nice. There was an issue with the vending machine later that evening, and when I went to speak to the new person in the evening, she acted like she hated being there. Was way over priced for the value. Walls are paper thin. Didnt sleep well at all. Was happy they had gluten free options for breakfast.

It was very clean for having construction / upgrades ongoing. It was very quiet, and the newly updated room was fantastic.
