They don’t provide at least one bottle of water inside the room. Also there’s no security box. They allow people to bring glass bottles around the swimming pool.

3rd floor loud noise from the A/C units outside and inside the room

Yes beach view was good. Suite a bit smaller than I thought especially the bathroom. Housekeeping amazing 10/10. Daily, friendly and super thorough. Huge difference from US and Canada where you have to almost beg for service on multiple day stays. We had an unfortunate incident involving the hotel and the staff was very conscientious in their response.

If u traveling with kids and family this is the place has a kitchen, fridge and good view to the sea and everything is closer if u need something for your kids the oxxo grocery store is a cross the street I'll recommend las flores

The food was tasty. The staff was courteous and attentive. The hotel is beach front so it was nice to go from the pool to the beach with ease. The views from the room were beautiful and you are able to relax on the balcony. The hotel in itself is dated and would be much nicer is it was renovated. The A/C in the room does not have a good air flow and will only cool the area immediately in front of it and not the entire room. The elevators are very small and during our stay, one of the elevators was out of service, which made for long wait times to go up to our room or us needing to take the stairs. Overall, the hotel is okay and I give it 3out 5. This would not be my first choice in hotels next time I’m visiting Mazatlan.

WE LOVE THIS HOTEL AND HAVE BEEN COMING FOR MANY YEARS. IT IS NOT LIKE THE GLASS AND STEEL HOTEL LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS IN LAS VEGAS. IT IS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL HOTELS IN THE GOLDEN ZONE AND FEELS LIKE MEXICO. THE STAFF, MANY OF WHICH HAVE BEEN THERE FOR DECADES, ARE GREAT. OCEAN FRONT OUTSIDE SEATING IN THE RESTAURANT FOR MEALS OR COCKTAILS IS PERFECT.

The beach view was amazing, great location, within walking distance of many stores and restaurants. The rooms were dated. Very small bathroom, no place to put toiletries. Air conditioner leaked. Unable to open up the closet all the way because the bed was too close. If you're looking to stay outside, enjoy the beach, and local shops, would highly recommend this hotel. If you plan to spend any time in the room, would not recommend this hotel.

We got a suite with ocean view and the room was very clean and comfortable. For my taste the actual bead was pretty hard but over all the room and staff was very nice. Restaurant has pretty good food

Spectacular view. Superb front desk staff, Clean room & Maintenance staff are prompt to a problem. The food is expensive in comparison. The staff in the food area seem a little off, not working together, just looking after their own customers. The Life guards should both be fired. Overall the hotel seems to be not be keeping up with the necessary maintenance, it's like the owners don't care anymore. It is as if the owner is more interested in the cruise ship people who come in for a bit rather than their guests who are staying at the hotel. The fountain wall no longer works, the north pool never opened ect. Advise: find Life Guards who are willing to do the job they've been hired for before Las Flores is known for a drowning while 2 life guards sat around playing video games ect. You could do a no phone policy. Feb 14/26

Everything was great. Safes would be a great addition to rooms. Cruise ship people being able to come in get towels and use the pool was a bit annoying as they were not paying to stay there and they disregarded rules and went into both the pool and hot tub with sand all over their kids. Staff were great. Room was clean. Beds a little small and not comfortable but location and staff amazing. We will be back for sure.

We stayed in an older room. The staff did everything they could to make things comfortable.
