This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We booked the most expensive suite in the hotel expecting a premium experience, but from the moment we arrived, it was nothing but disappointment. The bathroom didn't even have shampoo, and the amount of soap provided was ridiculously small. To make things even worse, when we opened the balcony door, there was a rat waiting outside. The housekeeping service was incredibly unprofessional. We left our room at 12:00 PM and called the front desk to let them know the room was available for cleaning. We returned around 2:30 PM because our young son needed a nap. Right as we got back, the housekeeper arrived. I politely asked if she could give me a few minutes so I could use the bathroom, pray, and then we would leave the room for her to clean. Instead of being understanding, she handed me clean towels, acted as if she was doing us a huge favor by cleaning the room, and left. My son and I ended up leaving the room barefoot just so she would finally clean it. I've never felt so unwelcome as a guest. The spa experience was just as terrible. During my massage, the therapist applied an excessive amount of Biofreeze to my back, causing an intense burning sensation. She then had to use towels to wipe most of it off because it was so uncomfortable. I also wanted to book a facial but was told there was no availability till Friday. Later, due to an unexpected situation, I had to cancel my appointment, only to be told I would be charged 50% for a late cancellation. I understand that policies exist, but there should also be some understanding that unexpected emergencies happen. To top it all off, the breakfast buffet was extremely disappointing, with very poor quality and limited selection. For the price we paid, this hotel failed in every possible way. Poor service, poor housekeeping, disappointing amenities, an unpleasant spa experience, terrible food, and even a rat outside our balcony. I would never stay here again, and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or enjoyable stay in Niagara Falls.

This was our family’s first overnight hotel trip and it was great! The water park was fantastic, perfect size for young kids, and all the lifeguards on duty made us feel extra safe. The restaurants attached to the hotel, Boston Pizza and Fields breakfast buffet had phenomenal service. Denise at Fields went the extra mile, helping with our two little ones during breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Our family with 2 kids, ages 7 and 5 had a great time at the Americana. The waterpark area and rooms seemed like they could be cleaner, as there was a lot of hair on the floor and dirty, wet bandaids in the waterpark, and hair and visible mop lines in our room. We appreciated the mini fridge and dinning area in our room. The service from the front desk team was excellent, our dinner from Boston Pizza in the resort was good, and our breakfast at Fields was good too. Denise was our breakfast server and was excellent, making sure we all had topped up beverages and chatted with the kids, making them feel special. An overall positive experience.

Stayed here as a family of 4 and we had a really good experience overall. The kids absolutely loved the waterpark and didn’t want to leave. Customer service was excellent. Staff were friendly, answered all our questions, and quickly helped with anything we needed like extra towels and room cleaning. The room was clean and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were cozy, and having a microwave and mini fridge in the room was really convenient for our family. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Fields Bistro. Lots of healthy options including eggs, turkey sausages, turkey bacon, yogurt, and fruit. The pricing was very reasonable too. Parking was easy, elevators were never an issue, and the room TV had Netflix and YouTube built in, which was awesome for the kids. A couple small things that could be improved: there was no hand/body lotion in the washroom, and the TV remote was hard to read because the letters and numbers were faded. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely come back.

It was our first time coming to Americana and there were pros and cons to our stay. Overall the kids had a good time and we would consider staying here again. Pros: The manager at the front desk was helpful in resolving an issue at check in. They gave us a complimentary late checkout of 12pm. The housekeeping staff were very kind to tell us we forgot a sweater. They even left balloons and a bracelet in our room for our daughter whose birthday it was. The waterpark was not busy and we barely had to wait for our turns on the water slides. There were many lifeguards watching at all times so I felt it was very safe. They even have free life jackets for the kids to use, which again shows their priority for safety at this resort. Cons: If you have more than 3 kids staying with you in the kiddie suite beware you will be charged an extra water park fee for any extra guests regardless of how many guests you select to stay in the room. The website was not clear on that. The sanitation in the waterpark could be improved, the pool deck areas always had stuff on the floor and I saw some red floating substances in the pool twice 🤮. Our room card stopped working multiple times and my husband had to come down to front desk at least twice to ask them to fix it. The arcade only takes cash so you’ll have to use their ATM.
