Hotel do Chiado is in a great location center of everything in Lisbon. Walking distance to many many tourist destinations. Hotel is beautiful with and awesome rooftop bar and restaurant with sweeping views of city and the Tagus river. Staff was amazing and very helpful with all planning. They ensure you are taking care every step of the way. My birthday was June 11 and a bottle of champagne was sent up to our room to our surprise. I would recommend this hotel because of the location in Lisbon and the excellent staff.

Our first time in Lisbon and the hotel was excellent! Located in a great part of the city.. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was beautiful and the outdoor roof deck bar was great.. Just wished we had a few more days to enjoy the hotel... Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was ideally situated to get about. Staff were helpful and charming. A reasonable choice at breakfast. We had a rooftop terrace with the room which had sun most of the day and no shade. We asked about parasols but were told because of winds they are not provided. If you are on the top floor there is a door leading outside between rooms 724 and 725, ensure it us closed at night as it blows in the wind and is very noisy. We were also disturbed by banging and drilling on the first 2 nights, starting about 11pm. When we complained on the second night the hotel said the adjoining shopping centre did maintenance after hours. The noise ceased shortly after our complaint and we weren't disturbed on the other 2 nights.

Our 10 days stay at Hotel do Chiado was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The staff were always helpful and eager to help with any requests we had or when we asked for recommendations. The hotel is clean, comfortable, well maintained, it has a beautiful roof top bar with panoramic views. The location is perfect, in the middle of everything, shopping, dining. We had a large and comfortable room on 7th floor with private terrace and impressive views. Thank you to the team for making our stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for customer service, location, comfort.

The location is truly amazing. Right at the heart of the city and surrounded by so much opportunity. The hotel staff was also exceptionally kind and helpful. A great experience overall and one that we hope to repeat in the future.

The room was oversized. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooftop bar/restaurant was a pleasant surprise. My son had the steak/egg sandwich for lunch every day while working remotely. The view of Lisbon was nice including Sao Jorge Castle. The location was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right in the heart of the shopping district. Our room had a beautiful terrace with a view of the city and the river. The staff was incredibly helpful and wonderful to deal with!!!! We had a wonderful time!

We loved the hotel! Amazing location in the heart of Chiado. Can get around by walking. Loved the rooftop bar to relax, enjoyed drinks in the sun. The staff was great… highly recommend!

Great location and good services

The night front desk staff were the reason this stay had many positive moments and why we would consider returning. They were consistently friendly, professional, helpful and welcoming, and they made a real difference. However, our experience with some daytime staff was much less consistent. After just landing in a new country, we asked for somewhere to eat and was directed about a mile away, only to discover there was a shopping centre with several food options right next door. That was misleading and frustrating after a long journey. More concerning was a mix-up with my airport transport. Both we and the transport driver were waiting in the lobby for quite some time when we was due to leave for the airport, and only after making enquiries were told staff had made a mistake and thought the driver was there for another couple. It created unnecessary stress before a flight. Because of the excellent night front desk team, we would consider staying again, but management needs to improve communication, consistency between shifts, and transport coordination. With service as strong during the day as it is at night, this hotel could be outstanding.

Great hotel in the center of Lisbon. Room was very clean. Staff and service are excellent.

This is a gem of a hotel that is well situated in the heart of Lisbon. The staff are fantastic and went out of their way to help when my wife was ill. The breakfast buffet is fabulous and prepares you well for a day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend getting one of the rooms with a terrace as they have a nice view of the castle and provide an opportunity to enjoy the outside by only take 3 steps from your room.

The staff went above and beyond from check in to check out helping with directions and booking tours and providing food recommendations. Location was ideal, rooms were large and very clean. Loved the welcome to hotel pastry treat and the mini bar bottle of port when we left. Breakfast was expansive and well stocked. We have stayed here twice now and will again when travelling to Lisbon
