The spa and restaurant were exemplary! We definitely enjoyed our stay!

This was a perfect stay. We are a family with a 3 year old, and it was great for both families and couples. The spa was amazing for a moment to wind down and relax, and drinks by the pool were lovely. The whole space of the hotel was a wonderful escape into a peaceful vacation with great food, wine, and relaxation.

My partner and I recently stayed at Relais Sant’Uffizio in the heart of Piedmont, and it was a truly peaceful and rejuvenating escape. Set in a beautifully restored 16th-century monastery, the hotel’s charm lies in its blend of historic elegance and modern comfort. The Aquanatura Spa was the highlight—immaculate and incredibly relaxing. The hydrotherapy pool, panoramic sauna, steam rooms, and ice cascade created a complete wellness experience. The time we spent there was restive and deeply restorative. Every detail, from the calming design to the herbal tea lounge, added to the sense of luxury. The hotel grounds were equally impressive. Surrounded by vineyards and manicured gardens, the outdoor pool area and bar was perfect for unwinding. I especially loved walking through the quiet paths in the early evening—truly serene. The restaurants, bars, and extensive wine list exceeded expectations and rounded out this magical visit. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway in the heart of the rolling hills and vineyards of Piemonte, this place is a gem. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return.

This is a great hotel with a lovely Bistro and a two Michelin star restaurant. We ended up extending our two day stay to four days. We didn’t eat at the Michelin restaurant but did eat at the Bistro which was lovely. Unfortunately the Bistro was either booked out or closed for three of the nights we stayed so I recommend checking in advance if you do not want to drive to restaurants away from the hotel. Staff were exceptional.

Great Spa, kids under 12 are not allowed into the Spa. The food is great at the dinner restaurant. A bit expensive for the area. We paid 440 euros for 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast is excellent.

I liked the pool although the sunbeds are too close to eachtother no privacy What i didn’t like was the atmosphere there is none !!!

great upscale hotel with great staff in quiet relaxing setting

This was our third stay at this hotel over maybe 12 years. We come back because it is serene nestled in the vineyards and hills of the Piemonte. Modern amenities set in the walls of an old monastery. Nice breakfast buffet, and nice restaurant with good s er ice and food. Since our last stay the have added an impressive wellness center and indoor pool. Hope to return again.

We really enjoyed this peaceful getaway amidst the vines as we first took advantage of the restful spa waters, then the views, then the delicious evening meal and finally 10 lengths in the outside pool.

Our room had the most gorgeous views of the hills of Asti. The room was very clean, bathroom was big, hairdryer included with the room. Staff at the hotel was very accommodating. We didn't get to go experience any of the spa activities but I'm sure it is very nice. Highly recommend this hotel. Also was very easy to find as there is lots of signage to direct you to the hotel.

Have stayed at this hotel every other year since 2001 whilst travelling between the UK and Italy, having discovered it by chance and falling in love with it - the location, charm, rooms, service and food were all excellent. This year it seemed to have lost its charm, particularly in the service from the staff, which was distinctly chilly. They even refused to acknowledge that I had pre-paid for our room until I made a phone call to hotels.com so that they could speak directly to the receptionist and verify the fact. Even after that I didn't get a apology! The setting and rooms are still wonderful, but I am not sure that I would return in future - a smile and helpfulness, in whatever language, cost nothing. Even the restaurant was disappointing this time - it felt as though we were on a conveyor belt from the kitchen. I have recommended this hotel to friends in the past, but don't think I could now. Such a shame, but I would no longer feel comfortable going there.

Great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Very pretty setting. The restaurant was nice. It was lovely to be served champagne and canapes outside before dinner. Beds comfortable. Good breakfast. Well located to explore Asti region.
