A beautiful hotel with pedigree as the oldest hotel in Vienna! It was immaculate and our room described as a superior double had an enormous bed ( superking size as I couldn’t find my husband!) with a fab mattress and linens. The room was large and spacious and all needs catered for. The staff was great as we borrowed an umbrella several times, needed assistance due to breaking a glass and extra teabags . All dealt with quickly and with no fuss. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable and again the staff was efficient. The location was perfect as our daughter was living a street away, but was also in the lovely 2nd district with cafes and shops. Trams right outside and metros very close by to access further afield. Just over the bridge was the inner city 1st district, with lots that Vienna has to offer including the cathedral, shops and culture. A great hotel and we would love to stay again.

This hotel ranks as one of the best in the world.Staff training and attitude are next level. from housekeeping to breakfast sraff to front desk 5 star quality all the way rooms are elegant and comfortable think Michelin quality the best!

The hotel was excellent. Historical while maintained perfectly with very a very clean room and washroom and great shower. The breakfast is very complete with good quality. And above all very great staff, in particular reception who are very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Stefanie was our Vienna home for our seven day stay, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the location, comfort, and cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of every member of the personnel. The front desk staff were patient and knowledgeable and always made good recommendations for our excursions. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were kind and courteous. It was a pleasure to enjoy the amenities and overall beauty and elegance of the property before and after exploring the city; and the breakfast, in particular, was something we looked so forward to every morning. The attention to detail was top-notch, and we'll never forget our holiday in Vienna, thanks in part to the hospitality offered at Hotel Stefanie.

Great location at walking distance of central museums and shops. Excellent breakfast and competent employees at the front desk. A jewel of Old Europe. Highly recommend, also at 2 blocks distance of great restaurants. The dinner at the hotel is also excellent. A winner all around.

Hotel Stepanie's main reception and dining areas boast an old world charm (being the oldest hotel in Vienna). The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a classic double room which was very comfortable and had all the amenities a room should have, such as the all important tea making facility. The buffet breakfast had an impressive range of food to cater for all tastes (hot and cold). The restaurant serves excellent food in the price range you would expect. You are only a five minute walk to the nearest metro station or you can jump on a tram with a stop 50 meters from the hotel. The canal is a 5 minute walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stefanie hotel. The staff were very helpful and professional. The hotel is located centrally and is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel, from the lobby to the room everything was amazing. The luxury red room feel throughout the hotel was wonderful and we loved the breakfast included at our stay as well as the courtyard.

Everything was very clean and well maintained, which made the experience even more comfortable. The service was excellent throughout my stay, and the staff were very kind.

The property location was just right for getting around the city. Easy walking and a close underground station if you need it. Despite being in the city, it provided a very quiet and relaxed environment. The breakfast quality was outstanding with lots of variety and choice. The breakfast staff were very attentive and constantly checked the food was freshly replaced when needed. In fact, all the staff that I met (at reception, at the door and cleaning) were very friendly and approachable. The room was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. I booked a single room for 4 nights, as a birthday treat and on my Birthday, i returned from the city to my room and the Hotel had laid on a special treat for me. This was a complete surprise. They must have realised the date from my passport. I was so pleased. This was so thoughtful and reflects the excellent attitude and delivery of service from The Stefanie Hotel. I absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you again.

AC doesn’t work in the room. The hotel staff and cleanliness were top notch . It’s very close to the transport links and stephansdom. Loved staying there.
