The hotel is well located for City Centre and onward travel to Scotland or North East. The rooms were lovely, warm and comfortable. Nice bedding and towels. Everything seemed new. The staff at reception and breakfast were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and topped up regularly. Gluten free cereal available.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff and superb breakfast. Free upgrade and chocs for my big birthday was a lovely touch.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was spotless and cleaned to high standard. On entering the lady on reception couldn’t be anymore helpful with a smile. The room was spacious and very comfy. Plenty of coffees teas etc. Evening food delicious. I cannot fault this lovely hotel and hope to be back. Breakfast was amazing. 20 out of 10

Lovely hotel.

What stood out most was the consistency and comfort. This was another three night stay for me and once again the room was great with no issues at all. Even without an upgrade, everything was clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed. One day I forgot to put my “Do Not Disturb” sign up while I was out, and I came back to a room that looked brand new again. The housekeeping team did an amazing job. Everything was spotless and refreshed, which was such a nice feeling to return to. The hotel continues to provide a peaceful, reliable stay, which is why I’ll be booking again for the rest of my placement.

Room was very comfortable with everything we needed. An odd thing to say in Feb but the room was too warm. We turned radiators off which helped. I guess its proof of good insulation and the staff catering to all customers.

What really stood out was the thoughtfulness of the staff. I’m currently on placement working night shifts, so sleeping during the day is essential for me. The team went out of their way to upgrade my room and ensure it was quiet, which made such a difference to how rested I felt for my shifts. The breakfast was also fantastic – fresh, well stocked, and a perfect start (or end!) to a long working day. It’s the combination of kindness, professionalism, and comfort that’s made me decide to book here for the rest of my placement.

Had a great first stay at the Cumbria Park hotel for two nights when attending an event in Carlisle.,Everyone very welcoming and helpful. Room was great and very clean, had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was also fantastic!
