The location was very convenient. Breakfast was really nice. Quite a number of choices. Staff spoke English well. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The bathtub had very high sides and not great if you have trouble stepping up high. There was a lift (elevator) to avoid stairs.

Excellent location- the hotel was conveniently located to most local attractions yet in a quiet locale. The staff were friendly and helpful. Provided us all the information needed to make our trip wonderful. Room was big and airy and clean.

Property is at very convenient location to tour Budapest. Buda castle is walkable distance as well as pest shopping district is just walking over a bridge. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There are enough choices for vegan/vegetarian in breakfast.

The location is excellent close all attractions of both sides of the city with walking distance. It’s clean and quiet with great breakfast.

We just stayed for one night, but the location was good, with a parking garage nearby, the beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size, and breakfast was nicely done as well.

The staff were so helpful. My room was OK, I thought from the photo that it would be better but it was all right. The bathroom was miniscule. I asked to be moved and thankfully they helped me and I had a free-standing shower instead of one over the bath.

I spent 8 nights here, and was completely satisfied. The staff is very friendly, breakfast for a small fee was very good, quick walk to the trains or across the river for shopping and dining, and a small fitness room upstairs was adequate for my stay. Parking in the pay lot across the road was a little expensive, but that really has nothing to do with the hotel. I rented a car for the entire trip, but it was completely unnecessary as it is so easy to get around without a car. Budapest is a very long way from home, but if I ever do go back I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great, close to the castle and walking distance to transportation.

Outdated building, fixtures. No fresh air, windows do not open. Constant urine smell in bathroom. Poor breakfast. Will not go back, ever

Great location. Staff really helpful. Maybe nice if they'd put another coffee pot on at breakfast rather than having cold coffee, however continental options were good.

This hotel does the important stuff well. The staff are attentive, rooms clean, and it is handy for the trams. Being on the buda side is no hinderence. There is only a breakfast service for meals, but this is no problem with food offerings nearby, up the hill and across/along the river. You have excellent baths at Ruda and Gellert a short stagger ( or one tram stop) away too. Recommended.

I wish the pillows were not so hard but everyone else was more than adequate including breakfast .

We stayed 3 nights here in our month long Europe trip and after having a fantastic stay in 7 cities in a row, we found this hotel inconvenient and disappointing in few vital aspects. First thing first! Breakfast was terrible! Not an elaborate choice and anything tasty. Arrangement of items was not convenient and very congested and in tiers and layers. Due to paucity of space the portions laid out were small. Some times vanished sooner and not replenished anymore either due to lack of attention by the staff or due to running out of stock. One staff told we have no more cucumbers for the day! Also, somehow the items looked and were stale. We eat lot of fresh vegetables and salad! There weren’t many and the available ones weren’t fresh! Nothing much to say about choices of breads. Boiled eggs were offered but weren’t many and quickly ran out. Scrambled eggs weren’t prepared properly - scaly and leathery due to inattentive over cooking as the staff managing were all the time noisily chatting among themselves not bothering about the surroundings or about the things on the pan and the stove. Front desk person sounded impersonal and remote and to some extent indifferent and rude when we checked in. We weren’t welcomed with even a hint of smile but with a frowned face! Location might suit some but not us as we always want to be in the hustle and bustle of real city centre. This place was little away from the main city centre, though the site while we booked told a different story.

Eveyone at the hotel was amazing and went out of there way to accommodate anything you needed. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. Location makes it easy to get about budapest and close to the river.

Brilliant location for exploring Buda and surrounding areas. Excellent breakfast served by friendly helpful staff. Basic but functional bedroom with small bathroom. Good amount of hot water and pressure.
