Our room was great and the staff were very helpful, breakfast was good and Maggie, our attendant, was brilliant. The hotel just seems a little tired but the amenities and meals were very good as was the sea view.

Value for money, lovely staff receptionist, bar/restaurant and housekeeping...they all worked as one team. Had dinner one evening excellent. Would be happy to reccomend.

My 90 year old Mum and I stayed for one night while visiting family. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to meet our needs. Super comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Breakfast included speciality coffees and a good menu of choices. The sun shone for us and we enjoyed the outside spaces. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location of The Cliff is a perfect base from which to go sightseeing around Norfolk. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We visited during a very hot spell of weather and our room had two fans, which were essential.

Everything about this hotel is great Staff are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble they work so hard to deliver Great interaction with everyone and who doesnt love maggies banter at breakfast!

Shower room grubby. Stairs up to 2nd floor are daunting, but must say receptionist did offer to assist with cases, but the most annoying feature is a £25 charge for early check in. The breakfast was cold,

Overall good stay Recommend

We were greeted by very helpful & friendly staff and from the outside the hotel looked great. Sadly the decor inside the property left a to be desired with peeling paint work and thread bare carpets on the stail ways. Not the most encouraging introduction. The shower gel container was empty on arrival and the room was incorrectly made up on one occasion, set for single despite having been correctly attended to previously for us.

Great hotel wright next to beach, with ample parking. Breakfasts good. Bar area more set up for meals, great terrace over looking the sea. Good Hotel if you just want a beach because not a lot of other pubs about, Taxi into Yarmouth £12.60p. Also no lift in hotel.

Excellent with the exception of breakfast. The food was great.

We had a lovely stay at the cliff, Hotel. And the lady at the breakfast. She was wonderful. I give a good trip. I think her name was Maggie. Lovely lady. Highly recommend to stay. But be warned. Large portions of food. And the cocktails. Are fantastic. Good value. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Staff were very helpful and the restaurants were very nice and prices were reasonable with the 20% off for guests and the free breakfast was nice with plenty of options Good size rooms our room was at the top on the second floor and found it quite warm but the was a fan but no aircon and no lifts so I struggled a bit with Injury to knee but doable they did offer a ground floor room if I wanted but it was ok The outside terrace attached to the restaurants was nice and overlooked the nice beach

Hotel was generally good with polite staff and the location was ideal. The only negative was the fact that they had booked me in a room and then needed to move me to another room as they wanted my room For someone with a disability. This move meant repacking and some inconvenience. No goodwill gesture was offered, not even a drink at the bar. I think they could have offered something or have been more organised so that this wouldn’t happen.
