We had a nice stay but on the site it said bikes could be hired. We asked but the hotel didn’t have any which meant we had to rely on expensive taxis and the bus. Only on the last day did we realise Birkerod station had bolt bikes which would have been great to get about on as we decided not to hire a car .

Stayed here during our trip because we like to be away from the tourist areas and we also had a car so the location being 20 mins outside central Copenhagen was great. Very lovely leafy suburb with plenty of conveniences nearby. You do need a car at this property though, without transport it would be too inconvenient. Plenty of free parking outside and the hotel itself was in very good condition, it would have been perfect but we had to change room on the second night because the heating in our room stopped working but the young man on reception quickly organised a new room for us, which actually had a better TV with access to Netflix. Breakfast was very good, a wide selection and lots of tables to eat in peace. This hotel is very much a conference hotel for business people which made it very quiet and calm, I didn't see any children there, which was perfect foflr us because we like to experience being among the locals instead of tourists. Would definitely stay here again when visiting wonderful Copenhagen.

Room was lovely and clean, staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a great choice available, really lovely place. Great customer service from the staff, nothing was too much trouble.❤️

The only negative was no air conditioning and shower was small

The communal areas such as corridors in the hotel were not so clean.

Beatiful hotel in green surroundings. Nice restaurant with limited, but great food. Breakfast probably the best in Denmark. Highly recommendable.

We loved the hotel, but I was almost charged for a pet cleaning fee for my service dog despite my reservation saying that they do not charge for service dogs. I had to show my reservation to the person in the front desk to prove what I was saying. Apparently the manager is considering charging for service dogs in the future, which is a major issue considering accessibility.

Room was small and missing a blind so I was woken by early morning light.

Clean, safe, quiet, breakfast. The chef was very nice and cooks delicious.

Enjoyed my stay at Comwell- amenities were just right for business travelers.
